The fundamentals are still bullish: trade wars, real wars, rate cuts, labour market...

CPI may not even matter due to the labour market

Stocks, bonds, and crypto are already rallying; risk on

Could that be why gold isn't attractive yet or this is purely technical breather consolidation

Sorry guys....today was my bad day.
At first just Close to quick in profit and when i want to hold for a while for bigger profits its back againts me.

Actually no problem with analysis. ...I am sell side from the beginning today.The problem is me...( too overthingking maybe)....by sharing i hope get some insight

I am former hard core scalper that transform to day trading....the transfomation in mentality is hard.

Not intend too for signals ( what for)

Actually, what's going on in the market right now with gold is that I can see it is all about the preparations for the upcoming CPI report. If the result is positive, then we see a drop toward 3990; result negative, then we see a sharp rise to 4200 period. Stay alert,

ps: for buys, can I get opinion on if 4028 is a good start

so far all corrective moves to get back over 4070 seem to be failing.

Not sure of the impact of the data later as we have seen crazy moves without the data too. but will have my SLs in place for any kneejerk reactions

this is one of the thing i always tell you guys, R/r, Risk over reward (this not about money but about pips), even he sell in a full sell day but he got little of profit or even worse is negative in balance -.- do the math mate, it is a simple statistics, do embrace the torture of mind in losses and waiting for TP hit -.- as i told you even in 60% winrate with R/r of 1:2 can not make your balance good... that is stupid idea, which internet or broker want to put in your young fresh mind since the beginning then it lingering in your head for much longer later without you can realize it 0.0 learn the mathematics and do it on your own, create an Excel file then you can see it much more clear lol. (You dont know how hard to get out of that circle right? it takes years to realize and much more effort to change yourself due to it dig deep in to your heart as the time pass)
And not everyday you can get perfect 60% but in a longer term it should be, therefore stable you mind after lossing a streak and winning streak also (which even more dangerous)
If you are new, please do a own research about some area where price sudden spike up, OHLC of group of candle at that location will get you at least some amount of price movement with optimal SL price (i do recommend check from D1 => H12 =>H8 =>H6=> H4 => H3 => H2 =>H1 => M30 =>M15 =>M1 look closely at M1 it always give some sign at crucial price level of HTF)
:3 i have seen many people risk 100 pips even 1000 pips 1 trade, but with me it is all liquidity im quickly out of danger, take it as a loss and looking for another chance rather than keep it drawdown my balance 0.0
And even in scalp, i scalp with a define target of HTF i keep do sell , take partial then leave small untill target of HTF lol
