Do you think its your relationship with fear that allowed you to break through?...i noticed an emphasis on it with your bio and the picture of the song No fear on your profile
Do you have a process around this...is it a version of flow state...are things like a reflex for you now
I know fear is often a mile wide and an inch deep...any advice for cultivating a trading state like this and not going on tilt

Currently, I don't use fixed SL, although I'd love to achieve such precision and be able to do so. That's my goal, and then I'll be able to call myself a good trader.

Well, I think fear is a limiting factor for many people. I'm talking about many areas of life. Every change for the better is difficult, scary, and requires sacrifice. That's when you shouldn't be afraid of change.
When it comes to trading, the best way to overcome fear is to know what you're doing. There's probably no other way; being a cocky gambler can only lead to disaster. Over time, everything clicks in your head and you do it automatically, it's like muscle memory. But yeah, it takes blood, sweat and tears... you've chosen one of the hardest jobs in the world.

What have not happened gave some insight in to what happened
The MA channel on M30, M15 kept me out of serious longs, taken few risky longs, with taking small profit fast, and reversing to shorting, also taking smaller profits fast. Very busy day, with many breaks.
Staying alert and not wishful thinking has won the day
Make sure losses are small and profits are bigger!

Sorry to hear that, even during these bad and difficult days (often due to our own making) it is important to protect the capital in the best way we can.

Looking at the charts after the US session close the PA looks very consistent, if it was a crazy day, that craziness has been of mine own making.
Yes, unrelating pressure down came with difficulties to be appreciated this time, all signs were there, especially after the initial failure for gold to bounce up at the initial stages of London session.

Fibs of the first impulsive after London open indicated bearish scenario
It is easy to be wise after the event, though it is good to remember such days and PA
It was a profitable day for me, though profits were limited by me having bias and refusing to follow market structure more closely.
