Sierra Chart Templates

Hello, I came to share some OrderFlow templates I found while digging around the internet, along with other excellent setups for Retail Traders.

Sierra Chart is a paid platform, but you can try it with a free trial first. SierraChart provides Real-Time Exchange Market Data Feeds, which allows us to get a much more accurate read of the market, especially in Futures trading.

How to add files to SierraChart

 

1. Go to your :C drive
2. Find "SierraChart" folder
3. Find "Data" folder
4. Download and drag into that open folder (data folder)

Now go into Analysis > studies and whatever you add should show

How to add Labels to side of your chart

1. Ensure that the option for Trade >> Trading Chart DOM On is not enabled (no check mark).
2. Ensure that the option for Trade >> Show Market Data Columns is enabled (has a check mark).
3. Go to Trade >> Customize Chart/Trade DOM columns and add the Buy Order Column and Sell Order Column to the list of displayed columns. This will remove the Size or Size/BuySell columns if they were there previously.
4. Add the Label column if not already there.
5. Select OK to close that window.

You should have it without the Buy/Sell columns and just the Label column.

Thanks rage22, but do you know any resource where I can learn how to read sierra charts?

This is the good one to beginners. For the other indicators, its best to research each one or go to the TradingInDemand channel.

I found it to be a real PITA; i.e. out of the box one cannot have basic things like Bid/Ask line across the whole chart etc.
Wouldn't Quantower be a better platform?

Across current day is not enough ?

Perhaps I missed this one (those settings are so convoluted anyway). Crosshair cursor cannot be toggled on mouse wheel press, chart cannot be moved in time by simply dragging with the mouse inside the chart, could not size indicator window, or right space margin etc.? All I remember is that I didn't like the look and feel of it..

Sierra is a bit weird at first, and it feels like using Windows XP today. But then you understand the possibilities of settings the indicators, it looks like Windows 11 with an XP visual. I use Quantower, but only in Propfirm. It's good and pretty, but there are some indicators that I can only customize in Sierra, such as the volume profile, etc.

You can do it by hand tool.

Right, I remembered that wrong. It has some good fetures: it can be programmed, it can hide the chart window title, scales, but it has no window snap (snap to borders, snap to other windows). All in all it is too cumbersome for me.

I came over the "templates.rar" files.

I can´t find the BookMap / Market Depth Charts.

Most intresting is the "stop detector".

I can´t find it in my SC platform.
Any idea how to find them?

Hi there, many thanks for sharing, but is it just me or are there "only" 3 insterad of the 6 chartbooks from the initial post, when downloading the .rar file? For example the daily market profile chartbook is not included? Either way appreciate a lot the chartbooks already, they are great. Would have to figure out though, what exactly they are showing, like what the color logics are etc.. Many thanks and I would of course appreciate even the other chartbooks. Thank you so much!

Has nothing to do with sierra charts.
It s a easy peasy mt4 template.

Would be great to get more useful things like chartbooks or studies for SC.
I m still looking for a good Stop hunt display/liquidity pools for 4 ticks charts ES or 20 ticks NQ.
