The word that has confused a number of people in this thread is the word formed. Formed does not mean that the candle has to open and close on the other side of the TFT. When Aus says formed he only means it has to CLOSE on the other side of the TFT. If you simply insert the word close where Aus says formed it will make sense to you. Remember, this is an international thread and even in English speaking countries some things get lost in translation. Aus, once more please correct me if I am wrong on this.

my mistake you are corect on what formed meens. i need to go back to english class. i new i should not have been checking out the teachers legs when she was explaining this. my apoligies

I just saw on CNBC World that they said that the BoJ is watching the USDJPY and concerned if it dips below 112

02:00 EUR/JPY: Back Below 152.00, Looking to Revert Lower Tokyo, August 17. Like USD/JPY, EUR/JPY reverted lower following the Tokyo fix. Further tests down may be inevitable given expanding financial sector woes triggered by subprime defaults. Stocks markets globally look to be in a downturn. The Nikkei is again down over 2% today and suggests little appetite for risk. With Japanese retail and institutional investors still heavily invested abroad, many are thinking of paring down positions or at least putting on hedges. This is the case for Japanese exporters who have only hedged out 50-60% of their needs for the calendar. And this is only in the case of the most sophisticated exporters. Lows in the 151.50-60 area were seen a short while ago. Although EUR/JPY has since bounced along with USD/JPY, the bias remains to sell into rallies. EUR/JPY is currently indicated at 152.21/25. As was the case overnight, the markets are extremely thin and jumpy today. [email protected]

I see the chinese stock market is back in its magical world where it only goes up.

That market will be scary when it finally crashes. I wouldn't be surprised to see it drop by 90%.

I went ahead and closed that GJ short that magically opened earlier. Of course, 2 minutes later it dropped 50 pips.
