Bearish momentum should weaken and ghen eu will trade in consolidation. I thought to go short around 1.1675 but its near to close and I can't trust the market until Monday or Tuesday again. I also took profits on my long - plus 90 pips this week.

Nice uptrend from EU but profit taking reminds us that the pair might still trade lower as long it stays below 1.1780 and that this move up might was only Trumps usual threatening on China so he can get a better deal.

Looking ahead, key economic data releases, particularly any further inflation prints or central bank speeches, will likely dictate the pair's direction. Traders will also be closely monitoring global risk appetite and any significant geopolitical headlines.

Levels to watch: 1.1780 and 1.1542.

China has the US by the balls on the rare earths thing.

Bull did well this week after completing double bot set up and 1720 reached and bear kicked in afterward and closed the day/week bearish
next week i will see if we can take down 1630 level for bear to test lower levels!

The EUR/USD closed higher this week, but on Friday, it corrected the move above 1.1700 that it had created in the previous days, due to profit-taking.

Support at 1.1643 is keeping the trend that started from 1.1542 intact. There is also more support lower in the 1.1610/00 zone, where buyers can still enter and drive the pair higher towards 1.1728 and 1.1760/79. However, a deeper move below 1.1643 should take some time to develop, and the pair should consolidate before showing its real intentions.

On the other hand, a drop below the round number will open up the 1.1542 low again. Sellers will then have the chance to drive the pair even lower if a break of the low happens and the momentum is strong, targeting the 1.1527/00 support zone next.

The EUR/USD opened above the 1.1650 low and the 1.1640/43 support zone today after a gap, and is currently trading below the high of the range at 1.1679.

A break below this range will open up 1.1600 for a test. However, if buyers are weak against the round number (1.1600), then 1.1542 should be revisited.

A break above the range will open the way for 1.1700, the 1.1728 high and 1.1739 R1 weekly resistance.
