and retail folks queuing up at shops that arent even selling gold but Accessorized Gold ornaments....

it does often seem to work like that it’s true.

im not personally convinced on that over a 6+ month period however as the economy is so utterly fucked & the wheels are falling off so much political shite - it will be the safest place to store cash during a revolution. Not tomorrow but it’s certainly coming.

thats why whenever gold peaks, you get very deep correction, it has nothing to do with people selling off,
its to do with how whenever gold rally, it gets the crowd to FOMO into the trade, overleveraging themselves so that their overleverage situation gets to a point where they cant even survive a 10% drop from peak prices, and they get liquidated into forced selling thus gold will have a big momentum of selloffs from leveraged positions getting liquidated.

happened few years after 2008 when market is flood with cash from low interest rates after the financial crash... we had that 45% correction in Gold no body saw coming...

That is all true and all, institution are indeed buying into gold as more allocation of foreign reserves are now in Gold.

but one thing i do not like is how Retail Flow was the primary driver of the recent rally in Gold since we broke out of the 3400 resistance back in August 2025....

how much of these retail clients are leveraged paper hands.... i bet you a 10% correction ie. down to 3800 will trigger a liquidation run.

Sorry to those who quoted me, i said i will not had time today to manage my trades was why also said that quickly put them breakeven.
You all know since yesterday i was expecting this level react. It made a final push up before playout.
However my bias didn't change for the day, was bullish, had the lucky and time to manage well.
Will be lieing if i tell that was counting with such bearish moves, because i don't, in part yes, not this big drop.
I only come to charts 5m ago since my last post, but as always i like to understand why things happen and what miss me.
And one of them i will pay attention in the future if is a pattern or not...
Because it reject twice in a zone that normaly not even reject creating what many people call double top.
Then i had the rejections of Ny mean twice and didn't work either, lesson from this is not be greedy and wait for a bullish confirmation.
And finally, this can be a mitigation of a fresh NY demand, at least daily is rejecting and regaining yesterday Ny supply, is needed a final confirmation on monday to see if this is not a reversal.
