I tried to integrate this BB+KC squeeze into my trading when it was presented on FF several monthes ago. I didn't succeed with it. Will read your new thread with an interest for new ideas.

This indicator can be useful; it's better to have something like this on the screen than to switch intervals and get annoyed.
I'm going to additionally take signals from M30 and trade on M1, because there are few signals on H4 (I trade from 7:00 CET).

A fine Eastern night.

The first trade lost because of the spread. My demo accounts is with a broker that have some hugh spreads. I do have a spreadfilter in the robot, but at the demo I have to switch it off, otherwise I will have no trades.

Therefore the first trade would have made it at my money accounts. It would then have been 450$ this night.

All in all a fine night. I would normally then stop trading for today, but this is testing. Let's loose the account ;-)

I will be away from the computer today, but the robot will be trading. So we will see how it goes.

Yesterday there were many fine trends that I did not catch - because there were no squeeze to get me going. That is the backside of this strategy. But I am not supposed to win it all, so that is fine with me.

Otherwise it can be a good idea to have another strategy together with this one.

Post #1 is now updated and complete as to the knowledge I have at this moment.

I expect people to give inputs and if I find those helpfull for the strategy, then post #1 will be updated.

My suggestion is to use a near equal position sizes for easier (better?) analysis of a RR efficiency. But your experience is significant so maybe it's not a problem for you.

My approach is to risk exactly the same amount of dollars no matter what I trade. Using RRW 1:1 then I have the exact same amount as both profit and loss at every trade. That is how I trade real money.

Otherwise if I trade 1 Lot of Gold and 1 lot og EURCAD there will be a huge difference in the profit (and loss).

Thank you for letting me know another way to do this. I like when people discuss the strategy.

That was exactly the thing I noticed! But looking at your screenshot I see almost Loss = 3 x Profit. Not 1:1rr I mean.

Oh yes, you are right. Well spotted.

Far to often my SL is hit by a wick. To avoid that I hide my stoploss in a parameter in the robot. The wicks does not know of that SL and they cannot hit it. This stoploss is effectuated only at the close of bar.

Then I place a real SL at the entry command, which is further away from the buying price. I call this an emergency SL.

In few cases the losing bar not only pass the hidden stoploss but it goes straight to the emergency SL. And in this case, it gave me a loss at 3 x profit.

The reason was, that I allowed the robot to take a trade with a far to large spread which was able to take the emergensy SL out. In real money trades, my spread filter would have avoided that trade.

So, my hidden SL is 1:1. But it might be worse, because it is a programmed SL. I live with that, because I avoid way to many take outs by wicks.

This week until now. Not the best, but not bad either. And there are some mistakes in there which I would normally not do. Also it is a test robot and manual testing should be better.

The experiance from todays Asian session - me sleeping ;-)

In my normal money trading I would stop trading now. But to get the experiance I will risk this profit and let the robot go on.

So today I will be away again and tomorrow is friday. Never trust a friday. But the test robot will carry on. Not perfect, but I will get some experiance out of it.

This is how my hidden SL works. If a spike touch the line, nothing will happen. If a bar close below the line, my robot will exit the trade.

So you are using my BollingerMomentum indicator. That is an interesting piece of tool. In principle you are right. But often you get just one lightgreen, and then the trend goes darkgreen again.

1.000$ profit from monday to now - thursday afternoon. Risking 1% per trade on a 10K account.

Made a mistake that cost 300$, which I would never make on a live account.

So that should rather be a profit of 1.300$

I have stopped the testrobot. I am going into a development phase now. So no more updates for now.
