Unless another military conflict breaks out, especially between China and Taiwan, and the situation in the Russia-Ukraine war becomes clearer, it is hard to imagine that the price of gold will continue its strong rise.

That's true, but trust in the $USD isn't increasing as far as I know. And there will always be conflict in the world, Gold's reputation may have changed from a "safe-haven" asset to an essential asset to always keep in your portfolio.

I'm not disagreeing with you but it's important to always keep in mind other perspectives.

for some weird reason oanda (American) in asia is on a European server.

Anything aligned with America server bank time for candles 4hr etc. is best, statistically larger number of trades and US dominates.

There's not a lot of difference usually but sometimes a pin bar doji, is different by quite a margin

Might be possible but imo gold will go more up may be 4270-80 or even close to 4300 and then may be down depends on news, policies etc.

i use FXpro
yes , it also late 1 hour open compared to FX
but is fine for me, at least the lvl marking do work fine for me

thread is here, there is a free ea in the somewhere mt4 and I think someone converted a mt5 - its investor, holds, doesn't close, only buys, averaging, no stop loss, need to have cojones for drawdown, but think there is a tp option
