lots of noise coming from FOMC later on today
at times like these I am quite happy to wait and tell myself - I do not have a clue what might happen within the next 30 minutes, so would rather keep the profits made earlier

Hi Joker, good to have you back

How do you operate your SL with runners, when entering?
Do you leave a wider stop and wait for price to be more than 30 pips in profit to avoid being wicked out, before moving to BE or something like this?

Hi Buddy,
Currently, due to the "strong uptrend", I usually move my SL to BE+1 after about 30 pips. I don't use a fixed SL when entering positions, but that's probably a mistake and I don't recommend it. I'm still working on becoming precise enough to use it, but it's not that easy.
I could blame it on my "style" but that would just be an excuse for being incompetent.

not a bad idea in these conditions. had a whole handful of lil runners get executed on these wicks before one finally stuck

Have to update the chart on DOW, Last session close white line just to confuse
MT4 execution and price updating very slow in busy markets

Gumps in place. I expected high to be broken but the previous day D1 candle wick hold so I sold the high. If the elasticity patterns fails unable to make a new high the probabilty of a down move increase

Thanks, buddy. You're right, while things were going well with the pairs, I did struggle a bit with gold at times. Even though the charts are all the same, I think I had a scaling issue with gold—entirely my own fault. Ensign is diggz's favorite platform. I'd say it's the only platform where you can see the pivots more clearly.
I hope things are going well for you too.

I will try to do whatever comes to be necessary, trends break, pose, reverse, rotate
Big position on account of D1 will make my study and trading desk flooded with sweat
Waiting for the H4, M30 rotation confirmed by stochs
