I'm not trying to cast shade on anyone's efforts but whipping up an EA kind of goes against what this thread is about. It's about trading a simple system to build execution skills. Ideally you can turn a profit while doing it, but the focus is meant to be on manual execution of a mechanical system. Being present, following the rules, and logging everything is what the real benefit is, over whatever results you generate in terms of pnl.

Worry not. I am not giving the bot to you or anyone because personally, I don't sell or buy such. I also don't encourage anyone to look out for such. I only made it to test the strategy historically, and only offer to give the author of this thread[only] for him to test if he wants. Besides, it is still under test.
If, and when I am satisfied with the test, I will use it personally, to make life easy for me, because, I can't be with charts 100% of time.

Kinell -it is not a test of any system ! It is a test of the trader - can he/she trade the exact set up ( any set up) twenty times without fear, hesistation or messing with variables. You are on the wrong thread chum.

This looks quite a bit more ornamental that my typical fixed bar chart. Since I have mastered myself and the fixed bar method I have allowed myself to explore the tools that bluesteele is teaching in his Blue's Clues thread. However, in spite of all the additional adornments you see here, this was just a fixed bar gold long at the open of the NYC session (as Stacey Burke defines that open, i.e. 8 AM NYC time).

I take a +5 point target if the +1R target is >5, and f the +1R target is <5 I take a .618 target. On this trade I had some positive slippage which resulted in a slightly better than 5 point net.

I'm going to be signing out for a bit while I continue to work on that 1st $million (it's been a lot harder than it looks over the years!) lol

Fixed bar interval trading fixed me, and I am 100% certain it can fix you too if you let it.
