I also noticed a difference in results when operating the EA continuously versus beginning each day around 05:00 gmt (1:00 am east coast USA) and ending around 14:00 gmt (10:00 am east coast USA). Manual termination is also an option once profit targets reached. Trading from the east coast, today's results reflect the perfect scenario from the European session. When I awaken, I can manage the remaining open trades and manually stop the EA, having achieved my profit target for the day.

These trades hadn't closed when I posted results earlier, delineated by the blue cursor bar. Another 200+ pips. I can hear the results screaming, "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful!!!"!
What's worth noting here is for whatever reason, perhaps a news event, the yen crosses (USD, GBP and Eur) spiked short at 12:30 gmt. EA picked up each spike, having already traded the short trend down (see chart for example of usd/jpy, attached). But the TP of 23 was hit so the approx 65 pip move at 12:30 gmt wasn't captured.
Food for Thought
So the question is whether one tweaks the TP, BE +10, SL relationship for such times. In other words, if you increase the TP to perhaps 40 and make BE+20, this move, which may happen infrequently, returns greater pips. On the other hand, I think that same change will result in fewer short-term profitable trades. That's an individual decision for each trader, based on your personality and trading goals.

I noticed that your stop loss is very tight to your opening trade price. Is that because you manually changed your SL after the trade had moved in your direction? What do you set your SL at in the EA? Thanks.

SL starts out around 45 or 50. When the BE point is hit, SL moves to BE +10. Please read the posts between July 26th and August 1st, where that move is explained in some detail.

I notice that the last chart you put up had two more ma indicators on it then in Post 1. Can you tell me what they are and what they're for please ?

I only admit to being 39 but appreciate the wisdom of my elders. I look at post #1 - 6 then go to the end and work backwards to find the most current indicators, ea's and results. I sometimes scan the posts for significant items. I am pretty good at skimming the posts. Like being in school and looking for the stuff the teacher will test you on.

Well, I am not able to find a combination that produces more than 50% winners on the longer time frames of 1hr and 4hr. So, I am going back to 15 minute timeframes and tweaking the parameters.
Great job MM. I know with some time and patience I will find the right combination for me. I like the idea of starting it over each night.

Thanks for the comments. Good work, trying different combinations. My recommendation - go back to whatever you were doing when you grabbed 134 pips and posted the following on or about 8 August:
14 trades since 7pm EST last night. 12 Winners (3 hit TP and 9 hit BE+10), 2 hit SL. I am trying mine on 1 hour and 4 hour timeframes. TP of 28 and SL of 20. RSI 4 with 45/55. Net of 134 pips. 5 pairs

12 winners out of 14 trades is a good thing, almost 90%. Other than that, your settings approximate mine. I still use 75/25 and 5/8 simple moving averages. And I think the EA prefers mostly 15M charts, perhaps 30M on some pairs. Almost forgot: I bumped my TP to 32 to get more of those major moves, although 28 may have been enough.
For the record, here are the settings that produced the nearly perfect performance reported for August 16th, trading on the 15M, beginning around midnight, 1 am eastern time USA. Let's see what happens overnight.

Results for August 17th - As expected, market ranged overnight, less trending than previous night. Result was close to breakeven.
Brainjt, you caught the issue for today and that is whether it's better to exit based on RSI settings (e.g., 75/25 or 50/50) rather than waiting longer exiting after cross. I noticed it because of a Euro trade that did not hit SL or TP. I traced it back and discovered market was short, EA opened short trade on the next candle but prices reversed. Then smas crossed and EA exited after 1 bar (see chart). Exiting on RSI settings would have closed that trade sooner. But that's another one of those "trader's decisions" because prices could reverse again toward profit.
Next week, I'll test SAR True, RSI buy-sell conditions 60/40 (allows for some PRICE reversal/fluctuation before reversing ORDER), ExitonCross False.
