You asked about if I trade 4-Hour? Or was that someone else, perhaps. Anyway, speaking of that, along with wicks, pin bars, and other price action; no, I can't trade gold by 4-hour, only use it as a guide, it turns too quick, and the risk is high even with the smallest positions.
I have been checking into how the wick formed on 1-Hour candles, see when they closed, small retracements, then continuation down, and this is overall bullish Gold.
Could be an option for scalping technique, just shoot for $5 move, which is shown by the red arrows. Also, the first 2 breaking below today's open, price action.
