WM4X-Dashboard series for MT4 - General description (updated!)
Dashboards are multi-currency/instrument and multi-timeframe indicators.

The dashboards have been redesigned, and 1-2 new features have been added, but most of the changes have been made "under the hood" in terms of the operating mechanism.
This description is general; in some cases, the specific dashboard may differ from this.
Foreword:
When loading, the indicator first updates the data (displays check marks in the fields) and only then gives the signals to avoid outdated data giving false signals.
This only happens during the initial loading, or when changes have been made to the instruments and/or time frames.
Although WM4X-programs are as effective as possible, keep in mind that dashboards are special indicators, as they work not only with data from one chart, but in some cases with hundreds! Unfortunately, MT4 can only run on one processor-core (afaik), which severely limits the available processing capacity. This is especially evident when there are too many visual components (objects) on the charts. Therefore, only run as many instances of the dashboard as your machine can comfortably handle.
Unique ID:
You can only add multiple instances of the indicator to a chart if you give each instance a different 'Unique ID' number. It is also recommended that you use different 'Unique IDs' even if the dashboards are on different charts, as this allows you to distinguish which one generated the alerts for the Alert-window.
Quick check of the Unique ID: click on the settings field in the upper left corner.
Time frames:
The desired time frames can be specified with their indices (for example, M15, H1, and H4 as follows: 2,4,5). This is direct signal.
It is also possible to set a reverse signal. In this case, place a '-' (minus sign, without quotation marks) in front of the index.
If you want H1 to give a reverse signal - for example, you want to see a pullback, then do it like this from the above example: 2,-4,5; i.e., put a minus sign there.
How to interpret the direct/reverse signal:
To avoid misunderstandings, two concepts related to direction need to be clarified: actual direction and signal direction. The arrows on the dashboard indicate the signal direction.
The actual direction needs no explanation; it is what you see on the chart.
The signal direction depends on whether the setting is direct or reverse on the given time frame. If it is direct, it is the same as the actual direction, but if it is reverse, it is the opposite of the actual direction.
A concrete example:
EURUSD is going up on the H1 chart. The actual direction is upward.
If the H1 setting is direct, you will see an upward arrow on the dashboard.
However, if you set H1 to reverse, you will see a downward arrow on the dashboard.
Only correctly entered values are taken into account; gibberish is ignored.
If no time-frame is specified, the program will load all 9 time-frames.
TF help included in the Inputs tab (0:M1 ... 8:MN1).
Signal mode:
Normal: all time frames have the same signal (i.e. all arrows point in the same direction).
Fuzzy: at least half of the time frames point in the same direction, and there are no signals pointing in the opposite direction (it only makes sense to use this setting if there are also neutral arrows – specific example: there are 5 time frames, 3 of which point upwards, 2 are neutral, and none point downwards). This mode serves the purpose of avoiding entering at the absolute peak of a movement - some time frames are currently experiencing a slight pullback.
Signal type:
It always depends on the specific program.
Instruments:
The handling of instruments has changed. From now on, there are no "Forbidden currencies," but instead "Allowed currencies." The program automatically generates the 28 base pairs depending on which currencies are specified from the 8 base currencies.
It is also possible to define currency groups. For example, if you select USD, the program will automatically display the pairs (from the 28 base pairs) that contain USD. This gives you a quick overview of how a given currency is performing in general.
Of course, it is also possible to enter "custom instruments".
A new feature is the "Chart instrument only" option. This can be particularly useful when switching between charts (e.g., with WM4X-Switcher).
If the desired pairs do not appear on the panel, you have probably forgotten to enter the prefix or suffix (if your broker uses one).
The program filters out any duplicates, so don't worry about that.
Alerts:
Intelligent alerts (you won't be bombarded with alerts, you will only receive a notification when a new signal is generated - or during indicator reinitialization).
Specific example:
You received a buy signal for EURUSD. Then the pair moves in such a way that the signal disappears and then reappears. At this point, you will not receive another buy notification, as there has been no change in the original direction. However, if a sell signal occurs, you will receive a new notification, as there has been a change.
You can also set whether or not to give alerts in minimized state.
New feature: any alert sound (*.wav file) can be specified (this means you can load your own favorite wav files, not just choose from the original list). The sound-file must be located in the {MT4}/Sounds folder.
Available alerts: sound, pop-up, email and push notification.
Signals in global variables:
It is for programmers, it makes it easier if you want to use the signals in other programs - EAs, indicators.
A specific example: a bullish signal for EURUSD looks like this:

1 (1 means bullish, -1 means bearish. If no global variable is found for a given instrument, then there is currently no valid signal.)
You can view the current values by pressing F3 on the terminal (if you turned it ON in the Input settings).
Font:
You can choose from a list (these are the ones that can be found on almost every operating system), but you can also specify other font as well as 'Custom' if it is installed on your computer. In any case, it is strongly recommended to use monospace fonts for a better appearance.
If the fields appear too wide or narrow with your favorite font, use the "stretching" settings.
Display size, horizontal and vertical stretching:
The dashboard can be resized across a wide range, and horizontal and vertical stretching is also available.
You can fine-tune the size of these data-fields. This can be particularly useful if you are using a high-resolution monitor (>=4K), so that the text is displayed correctly if the default setting was problematic.

- Magnet pixels, this is useful if you are running multiple copies of the WM4X-programs and want to align them horizontally or vertically (for a more organized look)
- Adjustable refreshing time (you can adjust the refresh rate - in milliseconds - to match the power of your CPU)
- Close button for convenient and quick removal
Troubleshooting:
WM4X-dashboards only manages its own objects, global variables and comments, it does not 'harm' the components of other programs.
If you experience any incompatibility, it is certainly because the other (3rd-party) program was poorly written. Unfortunately, this is a very common phenomenon, because most publicly available MT4 programs are written by amateurs. In this case, contact the developer of the other program.
In any case, if you encounter a problem with the dashboard that prevents it from loading or running normally (because an external program has ignorantly manipulated its objects and/or global variables), do the followings:
1. Press F3 in the MT4 terminal and delete the lines containing the expression '_WM4X_DB_MA_'.
2. Open the 'Object list' on the chart, click on 'List all' and delete those that contain the term 'WM4X_DB_MA_' (replace MA with the appropriate program name).
3. Reload the dashboard.

Multi-currency and multi-timeframe average true range (ATR) dashboard indicator for MT4

Information displayed on the panel:
Column 1 (Candlestick size):
The size of the current candlestick for the given time frame in points
Column 2 (ATR size):
The current ATR value for the given time frame in points (if the selected time frame is D1, you will actually get the ADR value, approximately)
Column 3 (ATR %):
Percentage value calculated based on the first two columns (i.e., it shows what percentage of the usual value is currently present)
Column 4 (Peak %):
Shows how close the current price is to the bottom/top of the candle. 0 percent is the absolute bottom/top, 50% is the middle of the candle.
Instead of traditional averaging, you can also choose to use median values for ATR calculation (it doesn't make much difference, but still...).
If ATR% exceeds a threshold value (default 100), the given instrument is highlighted (the candle is larger than usual).
If Peak% is below a given limit (default 10), the value is highlighted (new high/low can be formed on the given candle).
The average values are shown in the bottom row. The 61% shown in the image above (around 2 p.m. New York time) indicates that the market was weak on that day (D1). The 30% Peak% value also indicates a range-bound market.
In a trending market, Peak% values are low (~ 5-15%), while in a ranging market they are higher (~ 20-35%) - primarily on D1 time-frame.
You can set the program to record the current ATR% and Peak% values every x minutes (default 10) in the Experts tab, this allows you to see how the market has developed based on the TF examined.

I was literally looking for a utility to tell me the ADR / ATR of Gold on the 1-hour candles.
My only gripe is to round that decimal up as pips; I think reading pips is easier, e.g. AUDCHF 276 points or 28 pips.

That's why: they are not universal. It is clear what a pip is in the case of EURUSD. But what is a pip in the case of gold? And what about Bitcoin? And what about the SP500 or DAX, etc..?
In fact, pips no longer exist for pairs since the conversion from 4/2 decimals to 5/3. There are only points.
I know this is subjective, but based on my own experience, it is very easy to switch your mind to points, it is not that complicated.

Gold is something else, I always look at it as $ = dollars by doing that in my head.
It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.
