I like to look at the DXY price action more than only the pairs resistance/support levels... Briefly, DXY trying to play holding above 97.70 to target 97.90+ on current 4 hr candle, but not easy.. Might retrace a little for next candle to attack..

EU 70 pips GU 95pips. Penetration of current daily lows by more than ~5 pips is too bearish and will turn it to resistance later on...Waiting for retracement is the wiser choice.

I get your point about patience since Gold is sitting around historic highs, but I think this correction might be setting up for another push upward. With the expectation of weak NFP data tomorrow and the US government shutdown adding to safe-haven demand, fundamentals could give Gold a strong boost. Personally, I’m leaning bullish here, but I respect the cautious approach too. More reason for BTC pump too.
