I know everyone’s waiting for the entry part — but that comes last. We need to go step by step. Entries aren’t the most important thing; trading in the right direction is. If you aim in the right direction, you’ll eventually hit the target. But if you’re aiming the wrong way, no matter how good your shooting skills are, it won’t matter.

no, it won’t work the same. Heikin Ashi averages prices, so the open/close aren’t the real market values. Engulfing or failed engulfings won’t show accurately.
So how can you use heikin Ashi just to look at overall trend but lows and highs will differ

I'll add to that also the SL placement.
It's equally important to direction & entry.

It was an Weekly zone Precised to daily and than h4 but all you markings are right at CMP

The Daily engulfing you marked never made a new high, as it failed to close above previous highs with body closure. Hence, it doesn’t change direction but is taken as an internal break to sell back into buy zones. When the lower engulfing buy you marked will get broken, the storyline will shift.

Every market goes through phases. Here’s a simple breakdown:

  1. Bullish Market:

    1. Accumulation: Smart money buys quietly.
    2. Markup / Trend Phase: Price moves impulsively up.
    3. Re-accumulation: Another consolidation before the next leg up.
    4. Distribution: Trend exhaustion; smart money starts selling.
    5. Markdown: Price drops after distribution.



  2. Bearish Market: Reverse of bullish phases.

Key takeaway: Identify the current phase and trade with the trend.

Auction Market Theory Simplified:
Some traders use volume-based theory (Auction Market Theory) to track value areas:

  1. Fair Value Area: Where most trading occurred.
  2. Value Area High / Low: Upper and lower range of active trading.
  3. Point of Control: Price with the highest traded volume.

Price in fair value usually seeks discovery: a trending move out of the range.

  1. Price may:

    1. Return to previous fair value → then trend (discovery).
    2. Build a new fair value → then trend.

Even without volume (CFDs/Forex), the concept helps understand trending vs. ranging markets.

Price & Market Structure:
Since Forex doesn’t provide true volume, we rely on price action:

  1. Identify trend:

    1. Bullish: higher highs & higher lows
    2. Bearish: lower highs & lower lows
    3. Sideways: range

  2. Legs:

    1. Swing / Impulse: Moves in the trend direction, breaking structure.
    2. Pullback / Corrective: Counter-trend, creates liquidity for continuation.
