Anyone seen the guys from Analytical Trader??? I've been using their AT-VSA suite since 2017 and didn't realise I relied on it as much as I do until the indis just stopped working this week with an uninit error 8 and an Alert saying 'Receive no response or wrong server response'. Seems to me the server that checks the serial number is no longer there. I've tried all the usual things to fix it to no avail. Maybe it spat the dummy with the upgrade to mt4 1440. Whatever, I can't reach them; their website is gone and emails undelivered. If anyone knows the developers ...?

Yes, I know, by now I should be able to read volume and candles. And I can. But there were other parts of the software that highlighted particular zones etc etc .

It's not the first time something like this has happened with decent add-ons and it's starting to irritate (another was a very good Andrews Pitchfork add-on). Why pay good money for software that you come to rely on when the developers disappear and the software stops working? OK, one of the developers missing may have died, but jeez, all of them?

Last question - what are the ethics of decomp(876ing this software since I paid for it and the developer is nowhere to be found?

Exactly same thing has happened with me. Mine collapsed at 14.43 uk time on 8th April. The reversals indicator was incredible. I'm gutted. The developers are nowhere to be found. I tried using a different brokers MT4 but same issue. I'm not teccy enough to find a solution, so if you know someone please do post it here.

Hey Chewie, at least we can be sure it's not our individual setups, little consolation, I know. I have located an old version of their web site at Internet Archive and going through it with a tooth comb to see if there's a personal email address hidden there. My ageing memory keeps throwing up a name like 'Leo Baras' or similar as one of the original principals.

Failing that I will probably see about the other step I mentioned. Will keep you posted.

OK. Name I was thinking of was Leonardo Barata, called himself the CEO of Analytical Trader and is on a couple Portuguese business sites. Currently trying to find an email but not having much luck.

Ok mate, thanks. Yes, I was also worried it was just me. "Glad" it was a general thing. As you say, it does seem like a serial key issue and the fact that for whatever reason - be it a MT4 upgrade or a (MT4) disabling / archiving of AT's server that's causing the issue. And doing some digging there's no MT4 support per-se.

Let me know if you find anything as will I to you.

Hello, colleagues! I also ran into a similar problem! The indicators stopped working, the site www.analyticaltrader.com It doesn't work either. Not one of the e-mail boxes is working either! In my opinion, Leonardo Barata had an account on the X network (this is indicated in his profile on the mql5 forum) and, in my opinion, he has an account on LinkedIn. Most likely, something happened to Leo. Most likely, decompilation can only be the solution to our problem.

I've been down that road a bit with the AT suite but chickened out because of trust issues which sorta goes with the territory I guess. It's not cheap, probably prohibitive for most cost-benefit wise. Meantime I've gone back to trading pitchforks, but I do miss the Congestions indie. I don't know what you guys used most frequently of the AT suite, but I have found some of UPD1's indicators a relatively good replacement and inexpensive. Not as elaborate but ok. On mql.

Apologies for the downtime, recent MT4 updates made the authentication fail so the server wouldn't make a difference anyway. I have the offline license indicators ready to send to clients, please contact me here or via [email protected]

As compensation I will send you all the paid indicators that I have regardless of what you have purchased (for clients). I have all the indicators, codebase and databases intact, so no worries there.
