Based on the "DODF (Daily Open Direction Filter)_01" indicator, the free version recalculates its signal in response to live price changes.
The Non-Repainting (NRP) version, however, is designed to provide a stable, non-repainting trading bias. At the open of each new D1 candle, the indicator utilizes its proprietary NRP filter logic to establish the definitive trading bias for the day.
The NRP version features two distinct engine modes:
- DODF Engine (Repainting): This mode operates similarly to the free "DODF (Daily Open Direction Filter)_01" version, where the signal is dynamic and adjusts to ongoing price action.
- NRP D1 Bias (Non-Repainting): The calculation logic for this mode is based on closed candle data. Therefore, the resulting bias is fixed at the start of the day and will NEVER change. The primary strategy involves waiting for an alignment between the dynamic DODF signal and the fixed NRP D1 Bias. For instance, if the NRP D1 Bias for US500 is bullish, a trader would then wait for a corresponding bullish entry trigger from the DODF engine.

NB: For a free "DODF (Daily Open Direction Filter)_01" - It gives signal only trading away from Open Price Line and you will never get Reversal signal (Trading towards Open Price Line.)
