    The Australian dollar was at a 10-month high against the greenback and set for the best week since April as soft US data added to the case for several more rate cuts there, while bullish price signals pointed to further gains in the months ahead. The Aussie also scaled a seven-month high on the Japanese yen on Friday, and hit a three-month top on the euro and a 10-month peak on the Canadian dollar. The narrative is bullish again as risk-on sentiment roars back today. The weaker USD and surging US equities are highly supportive for the high-beta AUD. While the JPY is also strong due to falling yields, the "risk-on" impulse has become the dominant driver, providing a tailwind for the pair. The outlook is for a choppy but upwardly biased range.

The once little battler is no more. It's a pretty terrible currency to trade at the moment, despite recent moves. Better off sticking with the yen. At least it's moving.

Check the monthly AUD/USD chart. It's looks like a mule dragging its backside on the ground. ASX is the star under performer since 2008. 13 years it took to pluck back those ATH's. Even now it's meh above those 2008 levels.

Might have something to do with their Woke Foolish energy policies. That believe that power comes from the power point and food comes from the supermarket.
