Best broker for scalpers?

Yes i agree, for a scalper IBs fee-structure would be more suited. I personally had my fair share of experience with IB, i have been a customer for 2.5 years (not any longer tho).

I like bugscoe's broker (can't name because I'm a noob) especially scalping the EUR/CHF from 2aEST to 12pEST, 1 pip spread and some good movement too! All from a reputable broker that gives me interest--just my 2 pips

Yes, it works a bit different than most other brokers in some ways, i.e.: the P/L settles in the quote currency, you have to put up margin for each leg of the trade (effectivly reducing exotics to 1:25 margin), swaps/interest is not as straight forward as it could be(the 10k rule applies to swaps too), just to name a few.

Onada IB or EFX .........for salping: Can you SCALP with either of these Brokers 1, 2, 5, pip over cost, or any PIP profits, without a penalty? I know most Brokers PIP Penalize SCALPERS. I am looking for a broker to exclusivly scalp and want to be able to close the trade at any profit from 1 pip on. I do not want to be with a broker for scalping, that will penalize you if you don't have 5 - 8 pip profit or so before closing the trade! I would not be trading the news, but don't want 20 pip add on charge if I do happen to trade then.

I also like IB lower pip spreads. I use MT4 demo but could still trade from another platform while using this demo for signals. I have also heard some complaints with Onada if you happen to trade at news times. not sure about them? I also don't want to have to deal with requotes.

IMHO, try currency futures with an introducing broker through Transact (i'm NOT affiliated to them), scalp as much as you want, the more, the happier they are....
Simple platform, DOM, excellent leverage, you can go between the spread,true volume, tick charts, tick indicators, you can learn by watching the games being played on the DOM,
have set bracket orders before you enter, or multiple strategies for entry-exits.
IB is a great broker, a one stop shop, if you like,and i will be re-opening my account there, when i have more trading capital....but if you want to understand your statements without possessing a university degree, or get a response to a question you have, or not wanting complicated currency conversions, then go elsewhere.

i was just talking to oand customer service and they are telling me that the upper management can question your trading style when it comes to scalping. are there any scalpers in here that trade with them, and if so has anyone ever been questioned on their strategy or if mayb your acount has been suspended?

They will question you if they think you are scalping arbitrage because they lag the real market with their price--at least that's what it boiled down to in my conversation with them. pk

Anyone has comments on North Finance? Examples would be nice on your experiences. Do they allow scalping?

who cares if you can scalp with them? they're an unregulated bucket shop...scalp away

Something I noticed about hotspot is on demo, traders are trading way more, then the live system in terms of 10s of millions more on the bid and ask sides, which makes sense, no risk to real money=take more chances

I believe the demo system depth of market is just randomly computer generated so you can just get an idea of what it is like.

The best broker for scalpers is Dukascopy , because they earn from commission only and their commission is lowest comaring with other ECN brokers. And for scalpers commission is very important.
