I inverted it due to new Moon at the end of the week... we'll see if this is something to do...

End of the week recap: 227 pips from post 14,464, Aug. 24. Inverting the curve due to the new Moon proved to be a good move.

I think it might be inverted. Up until Tuesday afternoon and then down for the rest of the week.

Check the dates again, it starts with tuesday, as monday is holiday. But I am expecting a bearish week overall, too.

What an interesting find. It appears moon cycles do tend to have their effects on our sleep patters which in turn affects the market. What an nteresting thread and kudos to the OP

Hi jnevins,
I read the book and really liked the ideas and methods you've shared. I tried testing the EAs, but I'm not getting the same results as shown in the video, even when using the default settings. I also tried different parameter combinations, but the outcomes still seem off. Something doesn't seem to line up, and I'd appreciate any guidance on what might be going wrong.

What parameter settings are you currently using with this EA, or with any of the other EAs here (1, 2, 3)? I’d really appreciate knowing a tested or recommended settings that aligns with the results shown.

Hi Moly Cam,

I haven't played with it since that post. In the end, I don't trust EA's very much at all. There is so much intuitive discretion that goes into placing and managing trades that I feel that most EA's are doomed. One "trick" I used to get beautiful equity curves is to set the stop loss to a ridiculous 3000 pips. It looks great until the account inevitable blows up. JN

I've watched almost all of your videos. However, I see that your posts here are a bit more comprehensive than what you explain in your videos. For example, how do you identify the details in this post I quoted? Additionally, my other question is: do you only trade based on the projection line's date? Because I see that when we blindly stick to the projection line, we end up losing money instead of making a profit. When I combine the projection line with technical analysis, however, I get great results. I'm asking these questions not to question you or say that your work is lacking, but rather to benefit from your experience and to be able to analyze independently like you do.

I have been working with Timing Solution for a number of years. I am one of the few that hope to accuratley predict short term intraday swings of one week. It has become a quest that is always a bit out of reach... The most recent experiment is to see if a new or full moon could be the trigger for the "inversions" that plague short term cycle analysis. I would be a bit naieve to think it could be so simple, nevertheless, I remain hopeful. This week I inverted the projection line that was generated by the software intentionally due to the full Moon yesterday. This might be turning out not to work and that I should have left well enough alone. We'll see. In running Moon-Moon again and not inverting it, I got a similar curve as the above post, just a day later.

This is a long term research project and the usual disclaimers apply.
