I started a new proprietary trading account.
First, I need to identify which currency pairs are worth trading and also size of my positions.
I provided a screenshot to ChatGPT with the instructions below :

Based on the provided image, create a table with the following columns:

Row number
Bid price
Ask price
Spread (calculated as Ask price minus Bid price)
Daily move range (based on the 14-day ATR for each instrument)
Daily move range divided by the calculated spread
Balanced position-sizing for all instruments in the Market Watch list, using a EUR/USD 0.05 lot position as the baseline, equalized by pip value × ATR to ensure each symbol has approximately the same dollar impact on the account.

Where are the #7 - balanced position sizes?

Also, I am missing the logic of # 6 - divide the daily range by the spread?

What will be derived from that?

Daily range might be fairly steady but spread will have wide ranging reading depending on time of day, news, etc. so which to use?

It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

. Thanks for the attention.

I gave up doing those. simply will use 0.05 for EUR/USD and less for more volatile like BTC .

Hello Master
You can use this useful indicator to calculate trading volume based on ATR. Pip value charts from various markets such as crypto and forex and indices are very different and calculating risk is confusing. Its default setting if displayed in daily timeframe is half a percent based on five-day ATR. Sincerely
