The martingale strategy in V10 uses fixed levels, which has certain benefits but also lacks flexibility. Could an option be added to use the martingale strategy from V9, where the distance between orders is not considered when adding new orders?

Could this option be added in the new version release?

Check the Journal Tab or log file and see what it says.

The manager is trying to close those trades and is not getting the proper response from the Broker as to if they are closed or not.

I am doing some cleanup of the next version of Strategy Trader and am thinking of removing any of the Strategies that are not used or are not winners.

I would like your input on which ones to keep and which ones to remove.

I will continue to work on new ones as new ideas show up.
I am presently working on Strategy 6 which so far looks good.

So far I think personally S1 is one to keep (others may have their suggestions too)

I find it more of a cautious system, not to quick to rush into trades, so they tend to be higher quality. Sometimes though it does take a large loss, but so far it's still in the green for me

sorry for not giving more updates, i had a computer issue and i am actually not running a test anymore.
Looking forward to the next update, as my new setup will be ready.

From My experience S1 & S4 did quite well.

Hi Gene - Strat 1 seemed to be nice and stable but slow progress. Strat 4 and 5 I was testing and were performing nicely until I had a broker issue which screwed months of test. My fear is of course that any auto trading system can, and usually does, go into a period of heavy DD which is what I was watching for - until the broker stuffed up. The question is how bad the DD can get before the EA can bail it out. 4 & 5 are running again of course - new test runs. I have not yet run 2 & 3 for longer terms.

Interestingly, BlackBull have fixed their issue and I no longer have that problem. batemap, I believe, has had a good run with 4 so in due course we should get good data on that. Perhaps you personally will have an idea of how 5 DD would have performed on the basis of 4's performance.

Potentially promising I think.

I trade Strat 5 with all settings = false plus manual oversight to minimize adverse price action.

I like strategy 1 being a default stable pair, 4/5 are good too

I changed to a new demo account as it was too hard to follow all the changes I did. This has been running for 8 days now.

I have been testing Strategy 3 for the past week non stop in a VPS. Attached is screenshot of it's statistics.
I will let it run till end of this month and see it's performance.
