The importance of higher timeframes for identifying the overall trend. That's a professional-level analysis. Looking at the daily chart for swing trades is a sound strategy.

Will have to close for the week, eu seems to have found some sellers so minor down movement for now until it rises up above the high again.

Happy Weekend to you too. My buy TP hit @1705, so I am out for the week too.

However, I think the previous candle just got some seller trapped and the week will close 1730 ish like previous week.

EUR/USD closed down on Friday after three weeks of gains, as traders ignored rising U.S. GDP and PCE numbers.

Technically, the pair traded at 1.1680 after it failed to reach and hold above the 1.1700 round number. The 1.1650 support is holding the upside move from the 1.1574 low, and a continuation is expected above it. The 1.1720-1.1743 zone may be tough to break, but momentum and positive sentiment could reverse the situation, opening the road to 1.1789 and the 1.1800/30 zone.

On the other hand, sellers must push the price below the 1.1650 support to reach lower levels, first at 1.1628, and then the significant support levels of 1.1600 and 1.1574.

dnt know what to expect in September, overall trend remain bullish for sure but August we have been playing within a range (between white lines). Set up does look like what happened back in May-Jun if we managed to break above key resistance level but bear could also take us lower to form a bullish flag

Black line representing the current trend with higher lows.

Green lines indicate support levels where the bodies of bullish H1 candles haven't been even touched by bears. At these levels, bulls are initiating positions.
Looking at the H1 candles, I see that the bullish candles are larger than the bearish candles. Based on the time frame and range, bullish candles dominate. Bears need more time to push prices down and haven't been able to negate the upward momentum atm - green lines

First level is at 1.1667

eu opened almost flat but as we are unable to sub below 1680 its testing 1715 again!

gold is breaking all the roof so not sure if we will see eu breaking out of the current range.

usdx again testing major support 97.70. If we sustained below we are heading to 96.4 again maybe?

it will have to go below 1665 if bear wants to take over. Otherwise bull may continue to go higher!

Same analysis prediction here you think price might take up to 1.1800 level before that drop. Know alot of it is dependent on price action data reaction to labour market data this week just curious to hear some thoughts.

Its early yet to say! If a continuation up the market will ignore Fridays data rumors for a better number probably but expectations may drive down this pair before the release also.

Just follow your rules and you'll be fine!

yea us holiday should limit any potential big moves but gold is rocket high!

my initial thought is we will continue to range.
