if you draw a trendline on the hourly chart you will see that if we get a solid close above we should head toward the top of the bollinger band currently around 238.55 area but w/the 8:30am est announcements u never know

hmmm maybe that's why, I never base my desicions on anything less than 4Hr charts - 1HR and less I use them for confirmation only, anyways , let's wait and see

Seeing as we are all putting our figures in, I have three areas to watch out for if there is a significant retrace. These are based on fibo confluence areas on the 1H chart.
these are: 237.13, 237.77 and 238.79.

But as Moneymagnet points out, there is a trendline to contend with first.

we think alike, don't forget the 50% (238.30), which was the bottom of the last fibo i drew and a hourly trendline as well

Be careful of going short from this point mandoaddam, you will be running straight into some heavy support just below you. It's best to wait till the price clears the support first. If you are super confident about it dropping then you could put a sell order in underneath the support.

it's ok buddy don't take it personally, I too said right before your post that i see it will not go above 237.30 and no one answered, I just state my views just in case someone wants to discuss them with me in case there's an opportunity for one of us learning something new .... but if it goes unoticed, you still know you were able to make a good judgement (or a bad one!), and that's what every trader seeks.....good luck and many pips!

If you are short be careful. This news event could push the GU up. It will drag the GJ with it.

Thanks Karmostaji,

I took my levels off the 1H and only took the confluence within the two recent fib readings. The third, (which was the fib from the very top) didn't match the other two readings. - and I ended up with three lines that overlapped, hence my figures.

Wow, what a run. A good movement down and still on the 4H Chart we didn't get a close beneath the 4H ascending trend line. We're also still boxed in by the descending bearish trend line. To top it all off the last 4H candle ended in a perfect Doji. My chart shows an open of 236.68 and a close of 236.68 with almost perfectly equal wicks (shadows). You don't see that often on a 4 Hour candle. Don't forget the bearish 1000 pip channel either. The center is now around 237.21, not too far from where price has been hanging around. As I stated about 4 hours ago in my last Chart post, something's gotta give!

Ok I have seen somebody looking for an indicator that might work on MT4 that might rival the QQE indicator. I look for your thoughts on this indicator and or perhaps even new settings? It is like most others when the market is coppy or flat but I like it when things are moving. I will try to attach one for fibs to see what the expers think?

Let me know what you think, but be nice?
