Everyone was praising AUS to the skies when he made them hundreds and hundreds of pips profits with his trades... and when he makes one mistake, suddenly they turn on him. Ungrateful bastards, in my view!

what happened to Aus? Cmon people... no one is forcing you to make any trade. If you want to follow someone else's trading you do so at your own risk and no one elses'.

Not shrot, not long just watching.. this will retest the 236.66.. and it could shoot up to 242 level or shoot down to 234 level. either way I'm just happy to watch at this level

BOJ withdraws 600 billion yen from markets - and some japanese investors suffered losses because of subprime mess - so they're buying back yen.

Fundamentally - this should make the pair go down. Let's see..

Edit - Hey Aus! Did you trade nzd/usd today? I got good 40 pips on that one.. I think I should go back to trading fundamentals.. GJ always gets me in the rear!

We have seen some movement down but the larger picture still leaves us right in the middle of the 1000 pip bearish channel. The upper line is right around 242.50 and the lower line is right around 232.50. And where is price? Right around the 237.50 area (presently down a bit), which is 500 pips up or down, depending on which line of the channel you're measuring from. Price is still trying to figure out which way to go in the medium term.

Bit of long-term fundamentals for everyone to think about in their personal and investing lives. In spite of record high prices for oil over the last two years, we have seen oil production slowly decline. The decline rate is increasing, and it is becoming clear that the world has not only peaked in oil production, but is about to pass over the plateau at the top and start a rapid decline. By next summer, we will either be in period of shortages and record high prices, or we will be in a severe recession/depression.

Since the world switched first to coal, then to coal, oil and natural gas, we have been building a global economy based upon access to cheap and infinitely growing supplies of energy. I do not believe that our economic system can adjust to expensive and declining supplies of energy. It will become disfunctional in a very short space of time. I (and really no one) has any idea what will happen at that time.

For the forum members here, remember that all currencies we are trading a fiat-based, and they could all ultimately become worthless. You should seriously consider investing in energy and commodities, as their value cannot be destroyed through currency debasement. I also think that everyone should have some amount of gold and silver bought and stored with them. Just think of it as going long with the ultimate currency.

No .. not this time. NZD/USD is a good pair for fundies. Very unpredictable economy. About two years ago I got 800+ pips on a trade balance report when CMS didn't honor my 50 pip TP limit

I agree.. hey.. that's why all Indians will be the richest ones.. because they're the ones who believe in investing in gold at all times (I'm indian and I don't even have a gold coin.. hmm.. should follow the advice of my grandmother)
