XAU H4 candles opening time

At my broker all the currencies H4 candles start a day at 00:00 (my local MT4 time)
But only XAU/USD starts 01:00

All my currencies H4 candles are 00:00, 04:00, 08:00...
But XAU/USD are 01:00, 05:00, 09:00...

Is it possible to fix it locally? (converting offline chart or smth.)

Gold Market opens at 01:00 so most mt4 platforms are 01: 05 09 etc

Go to Market Watch

Right Click on the Instrument of interest e.g. Gold aka XAUUSD

There will be a window with Specifications appear

Where you can learn many interesting things e.g. Swap Rates, Trading Times

No, the question is in some other brokers showing xau since 00:00. Also I made converting script for the offline chart but, as you understand, it's fake bc of lack of that 1 hour data. So I'm more interested how 00:00-brokers generate their H4 data.

What does the Specification show for those brokers? Do they trade the full 24 hours?

The only thing I can think of is server time must be an hour difference.

It has nothing to do with instrument specifications in the "Symbol" window. @since80808 is right, that's a typical configuration error on the broker side. The only thing you can do is to write to the helpdesk of your broker and politely ask to forward the mail to the tech team, as typical regular support will not be qualified enough to understand the issue. It can be fixed only at the backend side of the MT4 server.

Current famous example for that issue is IC Markets via their global branch IC Trading. There opening time of XAUUSD,H4 candles is 1h late throughout the whole day. For more than a year IC Market had a very similar issue on Bitcoin: during weekends all M30 candles used to start at the 15/45th minute of the hour instead of the 00/30th. That was for a very similar reason as the observed XAUUSD issue. Because on Saturdays BTCUSD has a 45 minute trading break from 00:00 to 00:45, and the server was just configured to start counting minutes when the market opens. So M30 candles through the day started with an offset of the first tick after market open, that was 15 minutes late.

Why does this happen? Because nobody tells the broker and tech guys are only human, too: Typical brokerage employees are not traders and are not aware that this is an issue.

Erebus, by using this example it hopefully becomes more clear to you why it's not an issue with the symbol specification.
