Goong to sleep now. Holding all the trades. Lets just hope in 3 hours when china opens the books they end up buying all the gold after finding such low prices and I wake up to 3400 or something

I’m looking at the psychology and to many years of staring at charts of psychology.

we’ve had a sustained bull run, the largest run gold has ever seen, that bull run comes to an end for a correction… it’s drifted, slowly, based on lack of interest and flipping positions BUT there is no real reason for any difference from last month to this month, “what if I’m wrong” … if anything it’s more valuable now than it was based on inflation.. so, it’s drifted (psychologically people are loosing interest) BUT they don’t really know why & given it’s such a monumentally sustained bull run… if everyone’s expecting it I suspect it’s possibly the opposite.

based on that - IMO we bounce before we think we should (no BRN)

WHY? because no one wants to miss out & people don’t really know why it’s drifting “maybe it’s going to go up again” etc .. the PA strikes me as confused selling, no conviction, we flush out higher imo. irrelevant of what the chart says.

usual is around 70 - interest rates movements, safer with gold than dodgy outside pairs. Bigger gains, bigger gamble.

Rate cuts seem to be priced in, however the amount hasn’t. Until last week markets were expecting 0.5 in September, bets are it won’t be that much. If Powell is hawkish at Jackson Hole or even in the FOMC minutes gold could drop drop further.

it could also go up.

still holding position at 3394, I’m just not convinced this hasn’t got one final flush in it.

On the one-hour timeframe for gold, the market is moving in a clear bearish trend after breaking the strong demand zone around 3330. The price is now trading near 3315 with sustained selling pressure. The area that previously acted as support between 3325 and 3330 has now turned into potential resistance if any pullback occurs. Below the current price, buy-side liquidity clusters are visible around 3310–3312, suggesting they may be targeted soon. On the upside, there is a supply zone and an unfilled fair value gap between 3335 and 3340, which could cap any corrective move.
It’s evident that Market Makers collected liquidity above 3340 before driving the price downward, and they are now focused on sweeping buy-side liquidity accumulated below 3315–3310. As long as trading remains below 3325, the stronger scenario points to a continuation lower toward 3310 and possibly 3306. Any bounce is likely to remain limited unless accompanied by a strong breakout above the mentioned resistance levels. The market is currently under sellers’ control, with buyers on the defensive, so going long at these levels is considered risky unless a clear bullish engulfing candle emerges from the lower liquidity zones.
