Whats the reason many indicators don't work with Windows 11 ?
They all worked fine with Windows 7
This is in MT4

Verify the latest version of MT4 w/ your broker.

It may be that indicators may fail on Windows 11 in MT4 due to compatibility issues with newer OS architectures or outdated indicator code.
Windows 7’s older environment was less strict, while Windows 11’s security and resource management can disrupt legacy MQL4 scripts.

Very few details to help with the problem solving.

My first question is, how did they get there?

Did you copy & paste from the old system?

Or did you install MT4 properly and install as new indicators?

Hi, i installed MT4 from the brokers website and copied my custom indicators from the same brokers MT4 from my old computer.

There you go, you just solved it, you will need to install the indicators properly.

pff there is not installers for MT4/MT5 indicators and EAs
just copying and pasting is fine

You need to be more specific about your problem with the indicators? Is it all indicators not working? If it's only a couple of them not working, it may be due to incompatibility issue. Then maybe you can have someone with Windows 11 to try out the problematic indicators to see if they have the same issue? Debugging such things may be a pain in the neck most of the time..

I agree to a point but not indicators are the same.

Without knowing the exact details of where he obtained the indicators, very hard to elaborate.

Where are all the expert coders when you need their advice?

The following indicators do not work i got most of them from forex factory and i copied them a 100 times without any problem.

I used to have a FREE indicator by that name, then it went to a paid version, damn, it was good too! But not $50 good.

Moving Averages? You can find better ones anywhere, I mean how special is it?

Yes, for those simple indicators like Moving Averages, you can find it anywhere. The 5 indicators you posted here seem to be some simple indicators. You should be able to find similar indicators, the market is not lack of indicators. Then after that, maybe you zero down with only 1 indicator that you can't find, and then maybe you can post the mq4 file to see if any coders can help you with that. If you're unwilling to share the mq4, then it's very difficult because coders cannot work with .ex4 file which is not the source file.

what I think happenned is that with the new PC, MT4 installed the latest version and the indicators don't work with the newer MT4 versions

so you need to find the source code and recompile them that's my guess

I tried the first one it doesn't work for me either so my previous guess seems to be right
