Disliked{quote} As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not looking to add any new confluences to my strategy. It’s already been thoroughly tested and proven profitable, so there’s no need to make changes. At this stage, it’s all about consistent execution, not adding unnecessary complexity.Ignored
Disliked{quote} This guy already gave you the information you need… but you rejected it (for an understandable reason, of course). Still, I believe it will help you.. With “MP” you can see what regular charts don’t show you. It stands for Market Profile..Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks! Which TV indicator would you recommend I look into for market profile? There are a few. I've tried trading with MP couple of years ago during my intensive learning phase but with no success. I then switched to pure price action, ICT, SMC and then developed my own system using AMD + momentum indicator for entries.Ignored
The highlight: a 10-trade losing streak finally broke with the August 25th win. The downside: August still ended red at -5R, which means three consecutive losing months this summer (June -0.9R, July -2R, August -5R). Not ideal, but part of the game.
During the entire period, I’ve taken two trades — one in Mauritius last Thursday and one back home in Warsaw this Monday — both ended in full losses. Still, no regrets, both were executed by the book.
This time away gave me much-needed perspective on life, priorities, and realistic expectations. My wife and I had long talks about the future, and I’m truly grateful to have her full support. She understands how much trading means to me and how, with time and discipline, a relatively modest starting investment could grow into something life-changing for our family. That understanding gives me extra confidence to focus on the process rather than obsess over short-term PnL.
Next steps:
As I outlined when starting this journal, I plan to invest around $2,500 into my broker account and aim to grow it to six or even seven figures over the next few years. The first half ($1,250) will be wired this month, the other half in October. After that, I’ll continue topping up with $500 per month until the balance reaches $12,500. A new Trade Explorer will be created for this account, as the previous one was just a trial run.
Monthly recap will follow shortly.
It feels good to be back — let’s stay professional and keep executing flawlessly!
