No, I won’t reduce risk for now. I’ll continue risking 10% per trade until I hit $250k, then I’ll stop compounding, lower the risk to 5%, and begin withdrawing profits regularly.
With both my risk parameters and the performance of my strategy, I’ve calculated that my risk of ruin is effectively zero — even 10 losses in a row wouldn’t blow the account. It would result in a significant drawdown (80%+), sure, but not a total wipeout.
I’m comfortable with that because I’ve run the numbers and understand the probabilities involved.
