Today, we have another dose of news (13:30 & 15:00), so I have two scenarios on my plate for today. I think that around 12:00 or 1:00 PM, the direction EURUSD is happy to go will become clearer, and then the news will add fuel to the fire. The EXTRA NEWS will hit the markets at about 19:00-19:30 PM so leaving any open positions over the weekend will be pure gambling! Meeting of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin is taking place on Friday, August 15, 2025, in Anchorage, Alaska, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. {image}
This meeting will bring nothing. Putin has been playing poker face game for years. Only thing Trump can say smth to save face.

Trump wants to end the war... so does Putin and Zelensky, but everybody wants something else.
However, if any agreement is made this evening, it might have a huge impact on the dollar, gold, crude, and crypto...

I expect that, but not at the first meeting. Knowing Putin, he can't guarantee anything at the first meeting. it's not in the style of a former KGB officer. For Russians, it would be a sign of weakness to agree on something during the first meeting.
