data much worse than forecast but pound is holding - does that mean that market sentiment is quite bullish?
I am still learning, so what do more experienced traders make of this news outcome so far?

sometimes these news are priced (probably leaked) in and we see profit taking at news time-- screws with the minds of news spike traders--hence one needs to know the apporpriate deviation to trade the news spike


my t/p for g/u is at 2.0140 ( but ive taken half out at 2.0160 )

g/j still looks bearish in all tf's except 4hrly-- if 4 hr confirms--then the rollercoaster ride will be steep

it's also being held up by stocks doing well so far today and UJ looking reasonably bullish (I only learned this last week: always keep an eye on UJ)

Yes, there is some positive vibe in the markets today - with all the Feds, ECB, etc.. pumping in cash.. and assuring all the banks that they're their for them in the event money flow gets tight.

I have a feeling GJ is going to go upwards..
