Hi, I have 2 Darwinex accounts. One with 90k and one with 30k allocation. They are correlated at 0.65. I heard that 2 accounts from the same person should have a correlation below0.5. Will I receive profit only from 1 account then?

Thanks for the tip. My mistake. Yes, you're right. I used the wrong multiplier (0.10 instead of 0.001). Accordingly, you would need to achieve 10% per system to reach a cashable profit of $1500 per system.

I started with my first DarwinexZero account. It’s now in the calibration stage.

Have any of you tried Darwinex Boosters? I just saw that in addition to the 100k permanent allocation, you can also get up to 400k with these boosters. Potentially another good alternative to a 400k prop firm account despite the fact you still only get a 15% profit share.

It is time limited. Not like permanent allocation.

The boosters are not permanent. If you pay 2280 EUR for 12 months to have 200k in your account you would need to make a profit of +7,6% with your DARWIN just to cover your expenses.

200000*0,076*0,15=2.280.

Not sure it’s worth it.

The problem with all the possible calculations you make to determine whether Darwinex is worthwhile is that, even if you can estimate the results with your own signal account, these results are absolutely no guarantee that you will achieve them with the linked DARWIN due to the risk engine.

I therefore don't think Darwinex is worthwhile at all, even with permanent allocations and boosters up to a maximum of 500k that you receive. Just recouping the costs is uncertain/difficult.

With a permanent allocation of 100k and 2x200k boosters, you would have already spent €6,105 to have access to 500k of capital. To even recoup that, you would have to achieve a profit of +8.14% with your DARWIN.

500000*0,0814*0,15=6.105

I don't think Darwinex makes much financial sense unless you can consistently achieve exceptionally high returns, or you can relatively quickly raise at least 5-10 million in capital from their investors, or whatever, so that the 15% performance fees you receive on your profits are somewhat worthwhile. As you can see, however, only very, very few Darwins receive such sums of capital, and those who do have such capital have sometimes taken 7-8 years to achieve it? That's ridiculous...

Edit: Now thinking about it, I probably shouldn’t have subscribed to it at all. I am now paying a recurrent 38€ monthly fee and who knows how long it will take to even recover that through DarwinIA allocations or paying another 1545 € for the 100k permanent allocation once my DARWIN is created…

I believe it just makes no sense. Prop firms are a much better option to actually make money. The only downside to that is all the rules and uncertainty of receiving payouts even if you followed all the rules.

I agree on the boosters not being worth it. Permanent, I believe, are worth it as you are, in essence, purchasing a 15K account (100K @15% PF) for pennies on the dollar.
I also whole-heartedly do not agree that Darwinex is not worth it, I fully recoup my sub fees on 3 6 times over every month....it is just not quick, large $$$$ as the props are. I have received allocations on 2 darwins from first month and averaging 2% monthly more than recoups sub fees. If one can consistently earn 2% monthly, within 18-24 months this will BLOW AWAY any of the props and as a side benefit, there is no BS rules, denied payouts, etc
I will trade that time for the peace of mind of no BS and the fact that Darwinex will still be around in 3-5 years. I am not saying props will not be, but I am sure we can all agree, the odds lean heavily towards Darwinex being around vs. the props being around.
With all of that being said, can we please move Darwinex discusiions to the Prop Firm 2.0 thread. I created it to include ALL types of funding opportunities under one roof.

With a 15k personal account you receive 100% for your profits, not 15%.

IF you can consistently average 2% monthly for a 24 months period of time calculate an 48% return paid out with a 80% profit share on a 100k prop account as compared to a 15% performance fees paid by Darwinex.

Prop: 100000*0,48*0,80=38.400
Darwinex: 100000*0,48*0,15=7.200

With Darwinex you also have to consider the amount of time it takes/costs you to even get to a 100k account balance at all unless you have it all automated or your time is not worth anything to you.

If you are a discretionary trader you probably won’t be able to trade your Darwinex account with the same focus/profitable while still having to trade a personal or prop account aside.

If Darwinex is still around in a few years is not guaranteed. Every reputable company can go bust.

Imagine having spent 7 years to maybe/maybe not allocated 10 Millions by Darwinex Investors and in year 9 Darwinex goes out of business. Imagine you’ve spent 7 years to allocate 10 Millions by Darwinex Investors and Investors leave your DARWIN just after receiving your first/few paychecks. You can then start from scratch again? Great.

Well i don’t know.

How long do you already trade your DARWINS @pipmaster. 1,5-2 years?

What have you invested in terms of time and money already and what did you get out of it so far?

That should give you an idea weather it’s worth it.

How much capital allocated? Any real investors yet?

The goal with darwinex is not the 100K, that is a side benefit to get you paid while building the track record.
If you can consistently produce 2%, you SHOULD wind up with 1mil+ AUM over time.
To make money from props, you need far more than 2% monthly as you need 100%+ just to pass to begin making money.....a 2K DD to make 3K is literally 150% return.
Darwinex is a fully regulated broker and hedge fund, not even close to a fair comparison to props as far as sustainability.
Not here to debate, I've made a point not to do so any longer.
We all view things differently....I use both, props to make money while I'm building Darwinex track record. If I hit my goals of AUM with Darwinex, copy trading 15 prop accounts won't even come close.

Started July 2024, got one payout from that, around $400, blew it up in December as the degen gambler came out in me.
Started again January 2025, allocated since first month, 2 payouts totaling $1500 vs. $240 in sub fees, currently allocated 90K, not gold yet, no investors yet, but should be Gold and open to investors within 2 months.
Fired up another one in May day trading futures, same deal allocated from month 1, firt payout will be September, around $600.
Fired up a 3rd in June, not yet allocated.
It's a big picture think....let's comapre it to a college degree, if you asked someone in 3rd year of medical school, how much have you spent on education and what have you gotten out of it, wouldn't appear worth it.......ask again after they have been practicing 10 years.
Despite what the props sell us, trading IS NOT and SHOULD NOT be overnight millions.
