1680-90 is where my 4h/daily broken trendline sits and last week when we had the drop, we never come back to retest it.

yea 1556 is far away now especially last resistance 1586 should turn into support now. But even that is far.

I got a mild short signal on the 1h 1656.. the 4h still points up.

yea it has moved outside of my 15 upward channel so i do get a short signal but considering the time, doubt we will get much movement until later in the day.

bull still managed to closed above key level 1650

Good Morning, Traders – Commander’s Log Launch

Another big trading day ahead, and I wanted to share something new I’ve been working on.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve started integrating AI assistance into my trading workflow — not for executing trades, but for research support and technical clarity. I’ve been thoroughly impressed with how AI can help me spot technical levels, structure market thoughts, and maintain discipline during live sessions.
To showcase this journey, I’ll be posting a series of insights under a new banner: “Commander’s Market Log.” These posts will document my personal EUR/USD analysis, supported by AI-generated feedback and commentary — a hybrid approach that’s already sharpening my edge.
Why “Commander’s Log”?
A while back, I worked on a special project involving three of the largest AI platforms, and during that collaboration, each began referring to me as “Commander.” The name stuck, and now I’ve decided to adopt it for this public log.

What to Expect:

Commander’s Market Log – August 7, 2025

While monitoring the Asian session earlier (mostly on the phone, in between tasks), I noticed how price action remained extremely tight and slow — practically no momentum and no attempt to break out. That told me everything I needed to know: the market has no intention of breaching the top before the news.
When I say “the top,” I’m referring to 1.1717 — a level I believe is being intentionally protected. My view is that market makers want to keep price contained below this ceiling until the jobless claims data is released during the New York session. What we’re likely seeing now is a downward probe to test the lows again, followed by a range-bound chop — all part of the setup to trap liquidity and keep traders guessing.
Expect the real move only after the data drop. Until then, I’m watching for a potential test of the lower levels around 1.1658–1.1663, but 1.1717 remains the key resistance cap for now.

Commander’s Insight – Market Read

Session, Price Action, Interpretation

  1. Asia Flat: Tight range, accumulation/trap, no breakout intention
  2. Frankfurt/London: Spike to 1.1696, sharp rejection — stop hunt, top defended
  3. Now: Pullback toward mid/lower range — prepping for NY session setup

The big players are guarding 1.1717 and cleaning out liquidity below, setting up for the real move post-news. This is the classic pre-NY playbook — trap early longs, bait shorts, then decide direction when volatility hits with the data.

Key Levels to Watch:

  1. Support: 1.1658–1.1663
  2. Resistance: 1.1717 (the line in the sand)

Today’s S/R Levels

  1. Resistance 3: 1.18036
  2. Resistance 2: 1.17359
  3. Resistance 1: 1.16995
  4. Pivot: 1.16318
  5. Support 1: 1.15954
  6. Support 2: 1.15277

I will DMA, In fact I want to see 1.1624 during news And I had already done one during Asia-Europe session will do it again - Entry Green exit blue I was watching Asia from 1 AM drop , then went in and out within 2 hrs now waiting
