Hi Everyone, it’s me FxTyrant, I’ve decided to return to ForexFactory after a long hiatus from the site,
The decision to return isn’t a small one, but one where after years of studying the market, and having amassed a pretty long experience both in Trading and analyzing market trends. I would love to contribute back to the community where everything began in my Journey into FX and Global Markets.
Background
For those who do not know me or have not come across my profile, a little bit of background.
The name “FxTyrant” came about as a joke, I’ve asked myself what would be a pseudonym that would make an impression famous/infamously that would stick out with a strong online presence, well a Tyrant would do the trick. why not one that does FX?
Thanks to ForexFactory, I was previously an active member and someone who has gone through the ups and downs in both my online presence and my career in FX Trading (having worked at multiple banks as FX & Rates Sales and Trading facing institutional players, primarily Hedge funds, Corporates and Real Money asset managers) and market analysis for over 12 years at this point.
I’ve Honed my skillset in Cross market analysis and how different market dynamic works in determining how FX or other markets may move through number of research and discussions with my peers to build up the knowledge.
Now I would love to share it to the community that started it all for me.
Thread Introduction
I would like to start this thread so that likeminded individuals who are focused on markets can have a thread to share view and ideas, as well as to ask questions amongst each other.
I would like to keep the thread amicable so it will require members of the thread to at least be a certain level of influence on ForexFactory before permitted to posting.
I will not tolerate any verbal abuse and/or attacks on one another, everyone should be allowed to voice their opinions on how the market may move, that’s exactly how a market functions.
Strategy Introduction
Pioneering the use of a yield differential model to identify opportunities in FX Spot Trades.
By using Government Yields from multiple countries to imply where the FX fair value should be, presents us with opportunities to trade the FX Spot based on the medium to long term market dynamics.

(back tested the model's signal to buy and sell since 2009, assuming a 1mil USD account with 1:100 leverage and consistent trade sizing throughout, no compounding of returns), new trades will be added to the track record of the backrest.
