EU-US deal done, seems like we will get a gap up.

Impossible that this won't translate into higher inflation in the US, once stocks deplete. The faith of this pair seems sealed.

really down to how the market sees it.

to me its bullish to the dollars, a deal favouring US. Plus us-china extending the deadline for trade talks

i see the gap was once over 50 pips and above 1.18 but narrowed before market opens

i agree, but this isn't stocks, who won the deal is irrelevant at least for now, imo. Inflation and interest rates will be what determines the outcome here for now, i also see it bullish to the dollar. Real economy results for the US will take years.
I've been wrong before but that's what i see.

The EUR/USD opened up today after the US and EU reached a framework deal for 15% tariffs on exports. However, the bounce didn't last long, and the pair consolidated above the opening level, likely awaiting more details on the new deal's implementation. Support is located at 1.1715 and 1.1703/00 and should hold, but a failure to maintain the level above it could bring the pair lower. Resistance levels are at 1.1789 and 1.1800/15.

yea 1732/33 level pretty critical.

its funny that last week all major pairs were weak against the dollar but euro was strong.

today it appeared to be the opposite

next would be 1640-1650 area which is very critical!

i guess we may revisit 1700 1710 to retest the broken neckline first?
