First of all , Its my first thread ......
In this thread I'll be sharing my journey of creating my OWN Trading Strategy/system.......Will be trying untill we land on something yall are Also Wellcomed to post your own strategies on the basis of some backtesting not just ramdom thing from a 10 min youtube video ......I will also be giving the whole data and of backtesting and entry rules and other things once i find some good material.....
(i don't say my stretergy will be entierly new or straight from scratch i will be searching from the sources and putting the pices of puzzles together)

-----THIS WILL BE MY PATH ---------I WILL BE WRONG MULTIPLE TIMES ------

1st Step(THE DESCION):
decide if you gona build your system by your own or by taking someones elses strategy that is already working and building up on that with things you have seen working for you and according to your situation and risk managment..
Building your sytem from scratch needs alot of experice and time and moeny so if you have all that then go ahead and build your own ..
But in my case as i stated i am rookei so i will be using the second path ...

2nd Step(FIND A WORKING PATH):
yah just find something that works for some other people and that you think you can do that aswell most of the time if someting is working for someone you can make it work too...

3rd Step(BACKTEST IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE):
i think it doesn't need any more details 'JUST BACKTEST IT'

4th Step(Analyze the backtest):
see the trades that were lost and which were winning and how the winning trades could have been winning and how the winnings could have been more profitable and make some execptions when you won't be trading and when you will be (create entry rules) ...tweek some things add some things and backtest it again more!!

5th step (hope for the best):
not really hope just hope it to work and go streight to live to trade it and make moeny instead make your grip on it when you feel like now you can go into live go live but with smaller lot sizes and scale up and make it better overtime ....if it works

if it doesnt work out and you cant get it to work try again !!

SO my first strategy will be "DIVERGENCE IN RSI" preety easy and simple
USING rsi and price action

total entries taken 30

winning 19:
only considring the trade that hit atleast ~100 pips fully
but my ideal idea will be taking partaial profits at 50 pips and doing break even because some time the trade will hit the 50 pip mark and get to the sl
so getting 50 pips and be will be the ideal tp or the next swing point
important to mention that 100 pips is preety achieveable if managed right



losing 11
biggest + point i will say is that the sl is preety small i will say the lowest shall be 30 pips or 50 pips is the great spot if you have enough margin to for your risk management but 40 pips sl will be my sweet spot till yet ! maybe this changes in future if i change the entry modle ( i will definetly do that)

the entry modle now is pretty basic and not very defined and safe and good it surely needs improvement
THE TIMEFRAME I AM USING IS 15 min
I am still getting better to spot divergence and some losing trade are because of that aswell ....(that will be better by getting experience and not suddenly )

the stops are really small but the profits are good thats why even 50% win rate will be good for me atleast in the beigning but its currently at ~63% out of the box

Main thing what will i be adding into the stretergy .....
first the entry modle needs alot of refinment by alot i mean alot
i will try to integrate ema/sma ..anchored volume and price action ........

i will be posting the whole thing day by day ....after all its just the start...

some highlights are shown below ....any questions and suggestions are wellcomed

UPDATE of day 2
analyzed till the 9th may now but i am thinking to backtest it till the january start

looking pretty good..
the problem : not having an exit plan all the data down below shows the winning trades that gave either 100 pips or + or either 200 pips not more than that but the thing is there are trades that can give 300-500 pips but idk how to take them in count in the compilation of data and i don't have an entry plan so i made a basic one of going with 1:4 rr (for every 1 dollar i making 4 dollar i guess) but it can be substancially good cuz most of the trades have the profitablity of more than 250 pips but yah i will be posting updates and tests ...

now after anaylyzing till january i will backtest again with new entry model and exit modle ..thats the plan yet

i this post is a big trade but i have considered it as a 200 pip trade yah thats the the thing i talked about in the last message..

hell yah ..i will be going but here is a lil problem ..i am using the trading view but it only shows up to the 5000 candles in the free version ..... but i think that mt5 doesnt have any of that limit so i will me trying again from there from tomorow...if you can tell any alternative that will be fantastic.......thanks for your words mate..

those path really work if you put your precious time on it, i will help you abit offically in this thread, no inbox, just put it public so everyone can see. Take your time to train your psychology, it might need 3-4 years. Believe in yourself! Do thing in systematics! currently you are just blur blur in everything lol. you have to understand what you are using, RSI is a lag signal, by using volume and price mometum. Dont chase scalping, open your mind, enter the bigger view of it!

Acctually mate I am Actively Trying to get better at Market structure and Price action..But i thought that it will be a good to integrate some additional things into the trading ....after all all the indicators have lag (maybe some don't have and i don't know but most have the lag) ....i agree with your things but in start trying to capture 300-400 pip move as a beginner is just greed i think you will also agree that no one in the starting will be trying to get the biggest moves from starting with out experience and capital is not so good idea .after all we all have differnet thinking process but yours is definiatly better then mine ... and i will really appreciate it if you tell the solutions to the problems you mention and don't gatekeep..

pay your attention at Support and Resistance level there always a sign of PA at those level. You have to realize it by yourself. Test breakout/retest all have same repeat pattern. Do the same thing with others timeframe, dont stay on low timeframe. Something like this always happen. The more you learn the better understanding of market. I dont expect you could be a quick learner like me but it is fine to getting thing start in right direction slowly.

Yah mate thanks for it but how do you get know if the level is likely to be broken or the the price will get reversed and if it does reverse or barske it what is the way to enter...
