I haven't posted much in this thread, but followed it avidly. I am at the stage where i realised about 6 months ago, that I am the problem. I have tried several systems and failed, and it made no sense - because others were (seemingly) profitable.

The internet is full of untruth as we know, the only truth is your own experience and determination. Even if something 'works' for 'some people', the chances are it doesn't work for you. This can be for one of three reasons, firstly the idea is utter b**locks, the idea doesn't suit your style of trading, and the worst and I suspect the most common - you fail to execute well.

But the reason I am posting now is this, last week I concluded and told my wife, trading is something you grind at. Grit your teeth, plough on regardless, hold your nerve, and literally somehow get a positive outcome and I proved it to myself recently. And the reference to grinding in the last post just resonated with my own finding last week.

You know what really resonated with me...(Well they all do) But Drysdale's video... And the way he starts off each morning... And I have stolen that for my own use...

And it is this...

I am a Loser... That's what I tell myself before I start trading... And one has to listen to the video to understand that...

Because I know one thing for certain Roger is that... I am a Loser...and if I don't ground myself that I can be a degenerate loser...that I have the capacity every single trading day to blow myself out... We are all one step away from blowing an account our accounts etc...

It's how I now keep myself accountable to me... I am a Loser ..but I will fight and grind every day to keepyaelf from being A Loser..

Goes against everything I have thought calling myself that . But the truth is the truth and we are all in the same boat...I don't care where anyone is at ..what level your at..trading 7 figures or 7 dollars..

We are fighting the guy in the mirror every single day and it's a bloody grind I am happy to battle...

As the saying goes. You are you own worst enemy sometimes (or maybe a lot of the times). I don't post a whole lot either. But I read every post and watch every video. And try to find my own way. I can be tough. But if it was easy we would all be millionaires!

Not posted to much lately as I trade fx on the MT4 platform
Fav being the Yen pairs
To me their as been some great posts over the last few days and
I would like to thank everyone concerned
Now saying that rather than just giving (likes) I thought it better or worse to show my efforts
as been working in the back ground
I posted an Indicator of which gathered a fair few downloads but as
yet not seen anyone use it
I find it really good for doing mt 20 day challenge
Thought it would be a little fun
to show the Yen Pairs after last night

hi friends in the UK (maybe EU too),

I have been doing some research to find the most cost effective futures account as I have been using Tradovate but found (to my horror) I have to pay high fees for deposits and withdrawals due to the GBP to USD conversion (and back).
Here is a comparison for you all:


hope it saves you some $$
of course do your own research and validation before going off this info as I will do myself.
cheers and lets all have a calm disciplined trading week!


edit: sorry now seen IBKR have huge margin requirements compared to the other brokers (1 micro on MES you need $1500)....my search will continue

I don't use them but the headlines caught my attention re free market data. You could speak to them to gain further info.

OAPDave, are you using an indicator here to display the BO? I looked at the other two you posted and neither one seemed to display what I see here. I have been looking at GBPJPY myself.
