Another great week has come to an end for me. The first part was easy, but after Trump started posting on social media, things got tougher though I survived by sticking to one rule: never go against the momentum on news. And believe me, many traders jumped on the bullish train.
Next week brings the ECB meeting and the PMIs. No change in the rate decision is expected, but I'm eager to hear what they’ll say after the rate cut pause. The PMIs should come in strong, so buying on good news could be profitable.
For now, I’m waiting to see if we get a further drop to my 1.1610 target then I’ll close. I’ll be off the forum, so I wish you a great rest of the day and a fantastic weekend ahead!

Today I was 90 pips in profit. 7-8 pips away from my TAKE PROFIT the price reversed...
I ended up with 36 pips in profit
On Wednesday I closed too early and market shot another 100pips, today on Friday I closed too late
We never know when it is the RIGHT TIME.. but that is a part of trading
I'd like to know if it is better to hold for weeks as some trades do...

Do both, if u can get a setups/entries then take multiple lots, hold 1 then tp or manual the rest, that's your call. This is kinda my style and totally depending on day of week, market flow, volume, etc

I don't have a magic answer, but maybe consider taking partial profits at a reasonable goal and letting the rest run if you're winning and with a protected minimal profit. Maybe a trailing stop. Let winners run and cut loses.
Holding for weeks or not is part of your strategy of higher time frames, not a case by case decision, that will kill you.
Consider if you had a 50 reasonable goal on both trades, protected profit, trailing stop.

The EUR/USD closed down for a second week after breaking below 1.1662 support on Monday. Currently, the 1.1682 and 1.1700/21 resistance levels are pressuring the price lower towards 1.1544, 1516, and 1.1500. However, the 1.1556 low of the week must be breached before further downside can occur. Until that happens, and a new catalyst emerges, more ranging conditions around 1.1600 are anticipated.

The EUR/USD is trading in a range after the opening, between 1.1636 and 1.1611. A break should open 1.1671 resistance or 1.1579 support next, depending on the direction. If momentum is stronger, 1.1700/21 or 1.1556/44 could be next.

Seems that the bull is stronger now but spikes up should be a selling opportunity. Ill wait to see it higher again until momentum fades!Green week!
