Great for ranging but not trending.

Thanks for sharing I also saw that post but didn't bother then to realy see what he is saying..., his method seems to resemble very weel with Jacko aproach to hedging, and also seems to have a lot of common sense in it.
Only one problem though, he gives an example of entering long at 239.8 exit at 240.94 in a range of 487 pips and he says that 240.94-239.8 = 38.2% of the range, but 38.2% of 487 equals 186 pips, did you get what he was trying to say there?

cool prediction this morning.

wtf is happening now.. late bounce / buy from a fundi pov?
Ignored

Looks like the dow is in hover mode until the end of the market day. I expect at least one more big move in the dow, which you should be able to catch if you watch dow movements closely enough. Just watch out for a big up/down, followed by an immediate retracement.

As far as fundementals, I don't think the central banks are going to be able to stop this credit crunch. Any money injected by the central banks is just going to get pulled out of circulation, and not improve liquidity conditions. We are liable to see a dominoe effect of mortgage lenders, then hedge funds, then banks going into crisis/bankruptcy, then possibly a depression-style deflation.

Anybody starting to come over to my side, where I am predicting 210-220 on GJ in very short order?

239.84 sure is one hell of a support... non of the timeframe candles are closing below it... hope it does, to retest the bottom..

i have a trendline and a fibo crossing that point.

You may want to PM him. He is a really nice guy and very knowledgable. The way I interpreted is draw a fib between support & resistance and trade upon entry into the 38.2, exit at 61.8 and vice versa. He does say this is not a system, just a way to kill time when ranging.

I think the chances are high of another sharp drop in the stock market. If so, I hope you have a tight stop.

I actually wouldn't mind that, drops are fast on geppy, but I expect it to range for another week maybe. Only time will tell.

Not quite sure about that far, but I have for some reason a few price projections & came up with around 233 -234 ish. I can't quite find my info at the moment, but that is what could happen.

Don't trade to that anybody, like other guys say, see where the charts take you & if it happens great. I will probably miss it anyway.
