I'm taking short sells until we break below 3336 support level. Any buy is high risk. Price might spike up and reverse immediately.

There is a chance we might go back up at 3329 so be careful and set 2:1 targets.

No trades for me today. I didn’t get an entry for the second sell trade yesterday.

The market is doing what it does best, taking out both buyers and sellers before it continues upside.

I'm staying by the side till we get to 3374. We see how the market reacts.

Took the sell during Asian session. Now it looks like we might continue the upside from 3329 support area as I mentioned last week. I'm observing for the rest of the day.

We might not get any deep pullback on 1 hour. So any 5 mins correction is a buy. Will be buying Gold this week.

I'm still anticipating a push up to 3374 before we reserve downwards. So be cautious with the sell.

Interesting turn in the market today. Looks like we heading to 3250. We are stil in the B correction so I'm not rooting out buys yet.

If we get a break above 3298 and retest, I will buy gold. I don't think we ready to fall completely so the sell might be risky.

Hi jes, don't you think there will be some gold buying ahead of FOMC?
Do you think FOMC will be bullish? After all, Trump wants a weak Dollar and well, it doesn't bode well for anyone for the Fed to be arguing with the POTUS.

Sorry, I'm just seeing your message. I can tell you one thing: the fundamental move with the technicals.

If you can’t read the technicals don't trade news with high volatility.

As you can see, I posted my buy setup before the news happened and I have been anticipating this buy before today.

I didn’t even know there was going to red news today. I just follow my strategy and leave the rest to the market.

I only use fundamentals to manage my risk sizes.

There may not be enough volume to push the market out of the correction today.

I see two possibilities to trade. If price breaks above and retest 3331 I'll buy. But if we are still in the B correction we will be seeing more lows down to 3250.

So I will take the sell if price continues below 3331. As indicated by the yellow arrow.

I'm leaning towards the sell than the buy because the buy we had yesterday looks more corrective. It's not sharp.

I need to see more confluences to enter any positions today. The 50/50 chance isn't good enough.

Update on my FTMO challenge:

So this will sound crazy. I was wondering why I'm able to make more than $10,000 on my personal acc and yet I was struggling to pass the $10k challenge. So I decided to try the $100k instead.

It seems the 100k is easier to pass than the $10k. In just 3 trades I have almost completed the target for my 100k acc.

But It's been difficult passing the $10k without breaking my account.

Now I'm taking this $10k challenge personal. Impatience has been making me over leverage with large position sizes. That will have to change.

After this 100k challenge, I will sign up for another 10k challenge and will continue to do so until I have passed it twice. The goal is to get my impatience under control.

But I will advice anyone wanting to take prop firm challenge to go for 50k accounts and above. Never take the 10k challenge.

I want to see 3 red candles on 1 hour and 15 mins pullback before I enter the sell.

I'm learning not to rush a trade. But to sit tight and allow the market to come to me.

I got in early, by the away. Will be adding more positions as we pullback on 5 mins.

Change in direction. B correction is over and we are going up. Any 5 mins correction is a buy. Risk 3:1. Buying till we get to 3374.

We may not get any deep pullback because this impulse is looking sharp on 4 hrs.

I keep getting messages from you guys to confirm if my setup is valid or not.

Here is the thing: you gonna get used to losing as a part of this job. You don’t trade to avoid loses but to ensure you are gaining more than you lose.

This is why I only take a minimal of 2:1 trades. Yesterday, I took a loses. The trade this week has been 4:1 wins.

If I lose a trade, I don't obess over the lose. Likewise when I win.

When I see my setup, I place my trade. If it goes, I win. If not, I lose. And move on to the next. Because that's how you become a profitable trader longterm.

So have a profitable strategy and trade your plan. Use proper risk management and when you place a trade, don't second guess yourself.

Only take out your trade when you spot a reversal sign you are familiar with.

As for the current trade, I'm still in the buy. I see more possibilities to the upside than down. Problem is market is slow today.

Plus this will be the last buy impulse. Meaning sellers are getting ready to take their turn.

Trail your profits. Know when to lock in some profits. 5th wave impulse tend to surprise us. We can't predict how far it will go. And could turn before hitting TP or push through and reverse.
