maybe a retest to the neckline first but yea 1630-40 next

have taken a lost with my longs but i m happy to see my sells setup worked out…. Lol though i have cut down my positions and have done long which proven wrong

EURUSD encountered strong resistance today at 1.1749 and subsequently dropped to 1.1700. Following the release of US initial jobless claims, which came in below forecasts, the pair fell further, breaking below support to reach 1.1662. It then bounced back to the resistance zone of 1.1682-1.1700. For now, the bears maintain the advantage, targeting 1.1641/32, unless the bulls regain control above the round number.

It was great sharing my views with all, have a great rest of the day!

Market Context: Bullish Continuation Setup
Projection Target: 1.21010
Wave Structure Breakdown
We're currently observing a classic 5-wave impulsive structure in progress, confirming bullish momentum on the EUR/USD H4 chart:
Wave Count Summary:

  1. Wave (1): Strong bullish breakout from accumulation zone.
  2. Wave (2): Typical corrective pullback within a wedge (bullish flag).
  3. Wave (3): Powerful bullish extension, longest wave (impulsive behavior confirmed).
  4. Wave (4): Expanded flat correction forming a falling wedge.
  5. Wave (5): Expected to initiate, targeting 1.21010, the next key resistance and Fibonacci confluence zone.

Fibonacci Insights:
The retracement from Wave 3 to Wave 4 touched the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement level, aligning with:

i guess as we are within this downward channel bear will probably do well

but as usdx failed to close above 97.7 and we are getting close to 1.1630-60 area which is key support area on daily tf. Bull may take over anytime so bear has to be careful

The EUR/USD weakened in Asia but is holding above the 1.1662 low. The downtrend has scope to continue as the 1.1708 resistance is capping it for now. More levels that could help the pair bounce or break are the 1.1641/31 support zone and 1.1749 resistance.

If anyone is moving the market it is Trump! I am not sure if 168x now will start acting as resistance area to bring 1630-40 level. Or we may not get there and 166x is the end.
