Actually liked both of these setups from a multi timeframe analysis point of view. First has a signal confirmation on 5m lining up with price reacting off the lower BB on 15m, also near a level that acted as support prior.
On XAUUSD, we had signal confirmation on 5m, and signal forming on 15m. I considered moving my stop to breakeven once price hit the upper 5min bollinger band (In hindsight I definitely should have with NFP news soon), overall a trade that could've been avoided with upcoming news, but onto tomorrow now

Rough week indeed. But lets try to keep pushing.
From my side its quite difficult to take trades as I only have time during my work hours lol. But I try, in my limited time, to take the best trades by finding excuses not to take trades if that makes sense.
The below is the only trade I took today, ending the week slightly in the green.

That definitely stings — and honestly, those breakeven trades hit you hard. Even yesterday, if just two of them had gone to full take profit, you'd be looking at +4R, which would’ve changed the whole picture: 12 losses, 2 wins, and you'd be sitting at around -6R instead of -12R. Big difference — but that’s not the real point.
You're risking just 0.25% per trade, so a -12R week is about a 3% drawdown, which is very manageable. Considering the last two weeks gave you around +10R (2.5%), you're probably sitting close to breakeven or just slightly red overall — maybe -0.5% net. That’s not “good,” but it’s far from disastrous.

Here’s the thing: not blowing up during a bad run is a win in itself. If after 100 trades you're around breakeven, that still puts you ahead of most — statistically, the majority of retail traders don't even make it that far. I'm not sugar-coating it — we're all here to make money — but surviving and staying in the game through rough patches is underrated.

My honest suggestion: narrow your focus to 2–3 pairs max and track how the edge performs there. It might help smooth out some of the noise and bring clarity to the setups. You're halfway through the process — stay sharp, stay disciplined. The data will turn if the edge is real.

I came in to browse the forum looking for a mechanical strategy with >40% winrate and 2rr and came across this marvel. I had to register just to thank you for sharing it. After backtesting it in different market situations, I can't wait to start testing it in real. Over the next few weeks I will share my results. Thanks boss.

Total Trades Opened Today: 4

So far:

2 trades have already closed:
 • 1 hit Stop Loss (SL) -1R
 • 1 hit Take Profit (TP) +2R

2 trades are still open and currently running.

In the meantime, I'm sharing the details of the completed trades while waiting for the remaining ones to finish.

Took me out...

Good day everyone. Took 3 trades today...first 2 were losers and on the third I decided to exit on the opposite signal.

Today's trades:
1. 0R. Moved my stop to breakeven when bullish momentum was slowing and squeeze indicator was showing blue bars.
2. +2R. Similarly moved my stop when bullish momentum was slowing but price continued upward to TP.
3. Trade skipped, was about to go for lunch, and price moved close to the basis and bollinger bands were narrow.
4. -1R.
5. -1R.

Overall: 0R.

Not a terrible way to start the week. Was monitoring only 5 pairs - took trades on two of them. Missed an entry on GBPJPY as I was monitoring my first XAUUSD trade so I decided not to trade that market for the rest of the day but it had two setups which would've given one win, one loss totalling +1R. Onto tomorrow

I've been testing the automated version and doing some deep backtesting lately. Interestingly, US30 performed incredibly well on the 30-minute timeframe — which I normally don’t even trade. Funny enough, one of those ideal setups actually showed up today.

Entering a candle late... because I still like the structure and believe the trade is still valid.. let's see how it goes...
