Disliked{quote} There has never in the history of trading has someone become a consistently profitable trader by publishing his or her results along the way. He's doing fine as he is. I'm not getting testy. I'm just making sure to counter your ego-driven posts with my more thoughtful awareness so others know there is a right way to do this and your way.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Can you please post a chart showing where/when you entered and according to which SL/TP criteria? Thanks!Ignored
DislikedI'm still not sure what the entry criteria should be (waiting for a M5 bar to close outside the reference bar vs. entering when the high/low is touched). Waiting for a close might lead to fewer „false“ breakouts, but the downside is in situations like this, when the price, with momentum, breaks the range significantly. The risk of setting a stop loss at the other end of the reference bar seems too high to me compared to the potential profit. With a return of only 0.618:1 or even 1:1. {image}Ignored
DislikedA fixed bar trading plan is one in which trade direction, entry trigger, risk, and take profit all are derived from the range of a time-defined reference bar. For example, the Mebob trading plan uses the specific five-minute bar that opens at 10:05 AM NYC and closes at 10:10 AM NYC. THAT is the reference bar EVERY day. The Mebob bar is not open to interpretation. If you think you are trading a Mebob-like method, but your reference bar floats throughout your trading window from day to day, you are NOT trading a fixed bar, Mebob-like trading plan....Ignored
Disliked{quote} FFS - Try 20 in a row and see how you get on. Keep a record like VIDVAD. Have you watched Vidvad's video. ? All you need is there so stop pontificating and start testing forward 20 trades and record them - Like Vidvad and others did. You will then find what suits you. Just do it or you will spend years thinking but not doing.I do get the strong impression you fear being wrong. Test forward and note your stats.
