Gene is there any way to reset the stats screen so everything is zero again ?
edit, im guessing lower you histoy tab in mt4 to from today

Stats will show everything that is in the "Account History" Tab unless you use a "Trade Comment" filter in The Manager settings or use a "Custom Filter" in the "Account History" Tab.
I always use a "Trade Comment" filter when starting a new test so the Stats Window will only show what happened in that test.

You can also go back and look at previous tests if you remember what you used for a "Trade Comment" filter for that test. Just re-type it in the Properties in The Manager and the Stats Window will only show what happened during that test.

Gene what's your experience of this so far as i tried this once on 0.01 lot with a £10 basket and max dd 10% on a thousand account, it hit the 10% dd on the second basket, which is -£100 and i think that is a lot of dd to earn £10, maybe i was just unlucky im going to try £5 and 2% (£20) dd - That way if i hit 4 baskets im at least brake even, so far ive hit one £5 basket, so 3 to go and its a free trade then.
p.s i have marty and add trade enabled.

First results from this week using S1. I will test different strategies in a dedicated PC,
to run the manager 24 hrs. and see what happens.
Very much appreciated Gen for this dashboard.

Hi gene,
Thanks for making your contributions, looking forward to receiving your updates as a forward tester on your new version of your software. I will be interested to see and learn how to set TSL and TP on the manager software, I think this can be an essential feature to prevent large DD. I have created a demo account on 10k for basket trading on $50 S4, marty true at 0.05 lots this week, so far it appears to have managed recycle 1 basket but I noticed that it swings on large DD, not sure if having the above TSL/TP setup on v11 may help address it

I’d recommend transitioning to the MT5 platform, as it supports efficient multi-currency testing and real-time profit monitoring, making strategy adjustments much smoother. In comparison, forward testing on MT4 tends to be more time-consuming.

Just a little test im doing 4 £5 Baskets Now closed since Wednesday and Profit of £21, Max draw down set to 2% (£20 ) so this ones a free trade at worst i brake even.

Marty still beating Baskets. Gene, if you see any issue on my Manager screen, please point it out. Strat 01 + Marty picking up now. Since the upload pics do not show file names, the non basket Strats are all Marty true.

Hi Gene
Ive got this thing in my head about swap rates on the currencies, Ive noticed that on the manager there is a column that says swaps and a total at the bottom, is that for the time youve been tading with the manager or is this for the week...etc.
Im just worried about the swaps and if I were to go live how that would affect the balance as a whole.
And also how does the manager calculate the swaps.

That swap value comes from the Broker and is not calculated by the Manager and is only shown for the trades in your list for the time period of the session you were trading.
This is part of the Brokers charge for that particular trade and has nothing to do with The Manager,
The Manager only shows what the Broker has charged you.
Some pairs have a positive swap while others are negative.
So the swap can add to or subtract from the profit of a particular trade.

I've been traveling extensively the last three weeks, so I'm basically starting fresh with these tests... I'm trying to load the v10 Manager to MT4, but I'm getting these errors:

I've read several threads in this forum regarding uninit 8, but I didn't see anything about user32.dll. I see the symbols are spelled correctly (6-char. format), and my broker is open. I've tried using just one pair, but get the same error.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I found user32.dll and placed it in the Libraries folder; that resulted in the same error above. I'm now running the load history script that someone provided.

Well I don't know what you are / are not doing but check you have all pairs that the Manager is calling for, loaded in the Market Watch. Also that Under Tools > Options > Experts you have you have enable the EA and dll's. Loading all history will maybe help but you need all pairs plus the TRY loaded. Sorry, can't help further - never had such an issue.

Thanks, AltosTrader. I have double-checked the EA and DLLs are checked and that autotrading is checked/enabled. I erased all pairs and used only one pair (EURUSD), but the error still occurs.

To avoid a lot of problems with MT4 it should be installed under its own folder under your main drive not under the Program folder .
After Mt4 is installed.

1) Tools/options/Expert Advisor Check: Allow automated trading, Allow DLL imports, uncheck others.
2) Open Market Watch: Right Click and select Show All
3) Open chart of USDTRY and place a Black template on it.
4) Load The Manager version 10 unto this chart and set it up to your liking in the Properties.
5) Select one chart and create a default template with Strategy Trader version 10 on it and adjust its properties and save this as your default template.
6) Go back to The Manager and click close all charts.
7) Click the Open PA Charts button to open all charts in your list.
8) Go back to The Manager and click the Select All button to turn on all pairs to trade or individually select the ones you want to trade.
9) Click the Session Time buttons you want to trade.
