Hmmm...

I am seeing a bull still on the 30 min, 1hr, and 4hr charts. I think it just needs some help closing above the 244.05 mark yet some are saying short.

Okay, what am I missing. ( good thing I have no open trades right now..lol)

What's the message here? To all the guys "learning" here (which means most of us), please.... please.... please.... read the thread.

I have stated this message before and got slammed for not being nice. They said something like, "just be nice and answer the question." Yeah, right, a question that has been asked a gazillion times just 2 or 3 pages ago.

Whenever I get back into this thread, I do my best to read (or at least skim) through the posts that I missed while I was asleep or something.

But even with this and other appeals, I'm sure there will always be people who will come into the thread and ask, "what's the entry? what's the T/P? what's the S/L? what's a trendline?"

Like I ended my other posts with this message... oh well....

If you read the part where he says he's leaving, then how come you missed the part where he says he will be staying on.

I can see why people missed that part. They have to go through pages and pages to find it. :-)

What they need to see are some posts from him, but he's probably sleeping right now.

For now, the only shorting going on is playing (anticipating) the pull back / retracement / consolidation / rest cycle. I've pointed out that there is a strong level of support down around ~242.70"s which was a significant level of resistance met earlier. So the range could be down that far which is over 100 pips. Could be a good reason to short in the near term.

Every move needs a rest. What's next is anyones guess.

There are trends and then there are trends within the trends. We are trending up but that is within a trend that was down which was within a trend that was up. lol (referring to hours vs days vs weeks and months) Picking a trend is like picking your poison or your potion.

Yes, Aus is asleep.. and frankly, I can't believe people here are so lazy that they can't go through a few pages and read the thread.. especially when there is no market action going on right now!

I think Auslanco also mentioned something about volume being an important part in his system. Don't we have low volume at this time of day?

Well Tokyo is open.. but usually at the opening it's pretty dull. Action starts picking up later.. and we've seen a lot of action since last night so things will stay cool for a bit.

Just to finish off this correlation thing I'm having a look at. Here are charts for 1 year, last 5 days and today. Definitely something going on here....

thaking into the acount the fact that we just had a very big upward movement today, I fell that at least on the short term will still have a lot of ranging.
My chart tells me that we will go along the descending trendline maybe confirming a couple of times the 242.75 area with the 2 fibs overlaping, but I don't see any strong movemnt up or down.
I don't think it will go up since we have very strong resistance 244 244.30 with 3 fibs that area, and also the fact tha GJ went so high because of the positive movement of the DOW of which we don't have suport until NY sesion tomorow, and also we don't know it will go up again for that instance.
I don't see it going down because we still have a very bullish trend on H1 H4 and daily is about to become bullish also (acording to A's strat).
So until late london sesion NY sesion only ranging I think.
Any opinion's?

A quick way to see only posts by AUSLANCO...click on his name on any of his posts and you will get to a screen that allows you to see all posts by him since the thread was started...

This should save some multiple questions...

It was very strange how GJ didn't follow the dow up on the early afternoon today. It was almost like there was a brick wall at 244. Something to think about for the bull crowd. GJ follows almost every tick of the dow up and down, but didn't follow a 100-150 point rise in the dow this afternoon.

I don't see any reason for a big barrier there, but something sure happened.

at first i thought it may just be a psychological resistance with traders at 244.00, also that a bunch of traders were closing their longs and thats what held it up. but you are right, gbp/jpy usually follows dow tick for tick, but just couldnt break that 244.00 barrier. was quite odd.
