5 sma on my my charts 4H is at 242.35 do u think it can retrace tht much for now it is stalled around 244 what could be possible entry point for a short

My chart is a bit messy and maybe confusing to some, if you need clarifications, just ask

Reminder: I'm NOT going short now, I will wait another 2 hours and see how the 4H candle closes, so please don't short now thinking you're smart and this beast takes off LOL

I think it could retrace to around that area 242.46 has a fib on my chart and it is sort of where i think the 4h 5sma might be soon?

I am not prepared to take the short going down myself.. but good luck if you do.

This is a chart of the DOW with GBPJPY. The DOW is real time, GBPJPY is delayed 15 mins. The second chart shows the 2 in sync, however both are delayed.

K, I've got a question for you...how do you recognise the points where u first pull ure fibs? Basic principle most people would say is to pull the fib from the lowest to the highest point in the chart and vice versa. I've tried doing this in multiple time frames but I just cant get it right, I mean i can do it in the 1 hour chart but its the longer time frames Im having problems with....so wads the best way to pull a fib in longer timeframes ( 4 hours, daily etc)

What is Triple Wednesday?

I've heard that wednesday is often a trend change day.. but not heard of triple weds before..

Ok .. thanks everyone..

I will have to go to sleep.. it's 2AM here,

Still no real retracement confirmation yet.... be careful if you are short... there could be another breakout to the upside. Best thing is to stay away from the market until london open tommorrow.

This could be the end of GJ unwinding. Daily charts are slowley turning up for it's next jorney towards 250+ within this month... we may get a clear picture by coming monday.

It's when brokers pay or take away interest (swaps) for Wednesday plus Saturday and Sunday, hence triple Wednesday (all paid on Wednesdays).

As you can see from the first chart, DOW and geppy were quite in sync from 9:30 to aout 11:00 (EST), both mainly going up.

Then from 11:00, DOW was (and stil is) going up (+160). However Geppy has stalled ever since then. I suppose the fact that it went up so much and all indicators (except daily) show heavy overbought has something to do with an inevitable downward price mouvement, at least expections of it are reasonable (which is causing the stalling). You know like "It can't go up anymore, it just can't!"

Any thoughts?
