I have two questions which I can't seem to find an answer.

1H Chart question
If the 1H open high/low was several hours back and a new current 1H bar is crossing through that previous level, is this still a valid trade entry?

1H Chart question
If a previous 1H bar a few hours ago was the high of the day and a new current 1H bar makes a new high and then crosses back through a previous open/low level (which was made a few hours ago) is this still a valid trade entry? or because the current 1H bar made a new high/low there's no trade?

@tantra do you use a different rule for moving the stop loss in gold? considering it has more powerful moves happening than for example EUR/USD

I don't use the standard 5 pips, I just watch the price turn against me in gold. Profit is profit. I lock in and whatever happens.

Mate how are you handling losses. You might not even get a pipet in + and it can take ur SL. Problem i am facing now is how to recoup such losses with this method. I like the entry criteria of this strategy but not the exit. Are you able to give us some hints about how to handle SL and prevent losses ?

Concern yourself with what YOU trade. What I or others trade does not affect you. Please read through this entire thread. It would be very difficult to do so and not become a wiser trader.

Losing trades look like trades that hit the predetermined stop loss.

Your assertion that you were not a good trader was spot on AT THE TIME. By recognizing this, you know what needs work is YOU!

This method doesn't need testing, YOU NEED TESTING. You need to find out if you can follow instructions. Everything you need to learn about trading is in this thread. And some of what you need to learn about YOU is also in this thread.

It's not crazy that I share what I have learned from others and from experience. What's crazy is when someone thinks they can buy something to make them profitable. HOLO or any other method isn't profitable, it is the trader that is profitable.

You don't like the exit? How did you arrive at that conclusion?

To prevent losses is simple, do not trade. Now you won't have any trading losses!

Profitable traders accept losses and control the size of the loss, Mate.

To be productive why not show us some of your losses and how you handle them ? Winners all look flashy but what most of us need to know is how to handle losses. Sure we do have pre determined SL and few SL's will need many of +5's.
