Disliked{quote} I prefer range breakout when trading fixed-bar methods such as Mebob and ORB's over the original Mebob entry rule. However, for anyone new to this type of method, I do feel a 20 day test of the original rules, even if in a SIM account, is worth the trader's mindset benefit such an exercise will necessarily goive to the one completing it without over thinking it. I also prefer larger bar intervals, especially on the NQ, e.g. M15, M30, even M60 to define my ranges. However, with straight reversal bars, I have been able to trade with...Ignored
DislikedI am posting last 2 weeks equity line of my live account for MeBob. Today's trade is still ongoing. I used 4 micro Dow Futures lots per $10,000 dollars. This is more of encouragement for vidvad, turnip, Blue to march forward with this technique. One bar of the same time was used and of course smart statistically significant MM and Control of MindF*ck was implemented, to squeeze as much as possible from each trade. Profit +14.7%. Disliked{quote} As an example, let's suppose we chose the M60 bar that opens at 9 AM and closes at 10 AM as out fixed bar (Mebob bar) on the NQ This is just one that I am currently "testing." I'd place a buy stop one tick above the high of that bar's range, and a sell stop one tick below the low of that bar's range, rather than wait for an M60 bar to close outside of the range. {image}Ignored

DislikedVery interesting paper on Dostoevsky and his experience as a gambling addict and roulette player. If you don't see how this relates to what we do here as traders, then you likely aren't quite ready for the roulette epiphany. https://www.roulettestar.com/people/...evsky/#letter2Ignored
Disliked{quote} OAPDave, in a friendly manner, I tell you that your charts with all these lines are meaningless...put a live trade and you will not care about any of these lines. You will care about how to stay in that random outcome trade and how to master MM and control MindF*ck. So, my recommendation, place a live trade and see how it feels.Ignored
