Had a quick look at it. You would have had 2 losses, 1 skip, 1 be and 1 win i think ( last signal).
regardless even lets say all 5 were losses you will still can comeback tommo and trade UJ again. Edge will playout.

Or alternatively what you can do is look at mix of non-co related pairs and trade them. Some will trend and some will range. Similar to colmconneely

Correct, depending on your risk appetite, you might have skipped a few or taken them all....

Alright… I guess things are getting a bit sidelined here — but let’s be real, no one’s deceiving themselves, and no one’s been forced into anything. I genuinely have no idea about the arrows or signals on your chart — I’m just seeing what I see, and from my end, there are only four clear entries.

Now, just to be clear — I'm not trying to make this strategy work. That’s not what this is about. I’m not here to force wins or avoid losses. If there were five losses in a row, that’s fine — that’s part of any real system. I’m not attached to the outcome of any single trade or short streak. What matters is that I’ve identified a repeatable pattern with an edge. Over time, I win more than I lose — and when I win, the gains tend to be larger than the losses. That’s the whole point of trading with a structured, tested approach.

And there’s something important to consider: markets don’t trend all the time. In fact, they mostly move sideways. Research by traders like Adam Grimes (The Art & Science of Technical Analysis) and various quantitative studies show that markets spend roughly 65–75% of the time in consolidation, not trending.
That matters — because mean reversion strategies thrive in consolidating markets. So structurally, we’re operating in conditions that naturally favor this approach most of the time. That’s the edge — and that’s why I stick with it.

Hi Mate,
1. Your histogram is slightly different to what Rishee is using.
2. You are entering trades after 1 weak bar on ur histogram whereas we enter after 2 weak bars.
If you correct these 2 you get the same result.

Was just about to post this. I think the first -1R trade in Rishee's first post on USDJPY could even be avoided with price having moved close to the basis. So its possible to have had a profitable day taking those signals on USDJPY

Absolutely.. true, even without any filters taking all the valid trades would still be profitable...

Here's my london session today.
1. -1R.
2. +2R.
3. +2R.
4. Missed this clean setup on EURUSD which would've made it a very nice day.
Overall: +3R

Quieter day than usual but very happy with it. That EURUSD would've been a cherry on top. But we'll catch similar moves going forward.

Thanks Rishee, I am on MT4 so the indicators are for this platform. I do have StochRSI and RSI on there to confirm those per the rules. My signals do not always align with yours but they are usually similar, in this case they are the same. I entered after the second increasing histogram bar on the bbsqueeze indicator also with MACD confirmation. And yes it was breakeven for me as well. Testing has looked good for me on this so I wanted to call one live and see what happens. Thank you for posting this method, all the best and green pips to all.
